That's how I feel about Gramma Utz's Hand cooked chips.  They're easily the LEAST healthy option when it comes to chips, but damn, if I'm going to waste calories on chips, I want them to be the yummiest.  They're cooked in lard.  And they taste awesome.

Lays tastes like crap.  And only a moron chooses a POTATO CHIP for its nutritional data.

I didn't even check that since my comments were only about how "I" like the chips over Lays and I certainly wasn't making any nutritional claims!

This is the first Singer I've owned from the post-black  Singer era (well, technically, I had a 1952 Singer 185, but that was just a Singer 99 in green casing, so it doesn't really count).  I've been using my two-tone 301 (which I bought last fall) to make the latest baby quilt and I really love the stitch quality and since it's gear driven, I've noticed it's a bit stronger.

I'm still not TOTALLY sold on the slant shank feature, but I haven't free-motion quilted with the machine yet, and supposedly, that feature means a better view of your work.

Exactly.  She and I spent an afternoon, seemingly eating our way around DC, a couple years ago.  We had lunch at Union Station, then walked around and got a snack someplace, took Metro to the hotel where we were going to meet Savcal, and snacked at the bar, and then we had dinner with Savcal and PeteyandJoey'sMom.  And then we had to pay a ridiculous cab fare to get back to the train station on time :)

She did.  You're the one who got all butthurt that she doesn't like Lays Potato Crap.

How generous of you to leave it for those who need it!

1. Do you shop locally?
Not really.  I wouldliek to think that I do.....but when it comes down to it, I usually don't.

2. How much shopping do you do online?
We do most of our Christmas and (imediate family) birthday shopping on-line.

3. Do you antique, thrift shop, or go to flea markets or yard sales?
Nope.  I don't have the patience to wade through the junk.  I am sure that to lots of people, it's a treasure....just not for me.
