1. Do you shop locally?

2. How much shopping do you do online?

3. Do you antique, thrift shop, or go to flea markets or yard sales?

People are different, and they enjoy different things.  I enjoy traveling solo, it's one of my favorite things to do in all the world, but I understand that other people do not, and don't find it "very sad."  Some of the experiences I have had in life that mean the most to me are things you could not pay other people to do.  C'est la vie.

No, I think if you read the comments you will see that "I" said they are better quality and that means better taste to "me".   I still think they are better quality, I wasn't out to "back it up" but feel free to read the ingredients and do your own taste comparasion.  I find this debate you are having to be really odd.

If I find them I will definately do a comparison. I did compare the ingredients and like I stated before, there is no difference.
YOU find them better quality but there is no actual proof there is for what I have compared the 2 chips.
Not sure why you think there is a problem with saying you like one chip over another. But if you are going to say they are of better quality and cooked with better quality, then you really should have something to back that up other than your own opinion :)

<<I would rather eat a chip like Tyrells than Lay's any old day, better quality = better taste to me.

No, you are insinuating that Tyrells is a better quality chip. You don't have any back up for that statement.

Why don't you just say you like Tyrells better than Lays. <<<

I'm quoting your entire comment, which includes my comment saying that "I would rather eatTyrells than Lays", something I have said at least a half dozen times now.  "I" never said that it was a better quality chip across the board..."I" said that "I" have found that "I" like the chip because "I" believe that it has better quality ingredients and that "I" believe the cooking method is better.

Read the posts already, oh my.

I love Smitten Kitchen! Her blog is so beautiful, I can only browse it when I'm not hungry.

I just don't enjoy it.  I don't even see a reason to enjoy it.  It's not supposed to be anything but gas in the tank.

To each their own but I find (for myself) that very sad. I just love food way too much to only consider it gas in the tank.

That's true, Platform and wedge heels are eeasier.  I have a pair of joan&davids that have a 3" stiletto heel but I can't wear them a lot b/c they're so difficult to walk in.

I'm short and rarely wear heels and when I do, I have to be very careful with what I choose.  I have a bunion and hope to never have surgery, so in the meantime, I embrace my short height and don't care if others tower over me!  I've seen the damage that can be done by wearing heels so it's a style I only wear if I have to (dressy occasion).

Annual physical?  I go to the doctor at least twice a month and no one has ever had a problem with how I feel about eating.  It's not that I don't eat...I am insulin-dependent, so not eating wouldn't work at all.  I eat what I'm supposed to eat when I'm supposed to eat it.  I just don't enjoy it.  I don't even see a reason to enjoy it.  It's not supposed to be anything but gas in the tank.

Yeah, that's about the recipe I used, too.  I think they had a shorter cooking time.  But honestly, the kale had very little if any flavor by the time I got done, so it was like crunching salt.
