It has been an extremely slow weekend here. I hope that means that everyone is out having a wonderful weekend.

Yesterday we moved DD3 into an apartment. The moving part went very smoothly. We had 8 people, multiple vehicles and a u-haul. So that part was quick.
But the people at the apartment repeatedly lied to them about when they could move in and the reasons for the delays in moving in. Also a lot of the renovations they were promised were not done.
We expected to start the move about noon and it ended up being almost 7:00 before we could move them in.
Today DH and I are having lunch with DD2 and her boyfriend and hopefully also DD1 and her boyfriend.
Yesterday we had a plumber here installing new hot water pipes, so that took up most of the day, especially when you count the cleaning afterwards.
Today we took it more easy. Dh cooked roast pork for lunch, and dd and I are now making Danish pastry for an afternoon treat.

Busy long weekend here. Went to Manhattan on Wed. Saw a Yankees game, Daughtry and MoMA with my dd while DH and DSs went to Bronx Zoo, Wicked with the entire family. Home late last night and today is laundry, shopping, long run, and rest day.
We all had an awesome time in NYC, we live in such a small town that NYC seems like a an alien world.
