1. Did you get more snow yesterday or today?

2. What is for lunch?

3. What is your favorite coldcut?

DS' elementary celebrates Dr Seuss birthday every year with green eggs and ham for breakfast.  That's the only time DS wanted breakfast at school, Lol.

Are you kidding me? That's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

So sorry you don't have very friendly family-like co-workers. No one kisses hello and goodbye at formal things for work either (example of Christmas party)?

That's a Long Island thing...maybe a whole NY thing, don't know.  Everytime you come and go you must kiss everyone else (on the cheek).  Even if you are just meeting the person (if they are close friends or family of your friends/family).  Apparently that carries over to work sometimes, but I can totally see that.

I did, you know when I asked what you were talking about with "classmates"?  You quoted my words and everything...

Yeah, same thing as when you gave or your kids gave vday cards to classmates. It is not a "love" thing.

Having a party was part of valentines when I was a kid and for my kids too. shrug.  So you are talking about grade school kids and having to bring x number of valentines to your current adult employment situations?  Why?  Does your place of employment remind you of elementary school, is that why you are using classmates and exchanging of valentines as an elemetnary school child as an example?  Or is this just another one of your red herrings?

No, it reminds me how people do for other people without it having to be about love "feelings".

I didn't say anything bothered me, why you continue to make up things, totally odd, that's 0-4 for anyone counting.

So...you giving valentines to your kids and dh is just like it was in elementary school and not because you love them, right?

I am getting my kids donuts, I did say that before. My parents always got us something little and my mom still sends the kids a card and money for Vday and other holidays like Easter, Halloween. Sometimes people at work have actually given out the cute vday cards with candy. They don't "love" us like that. lol.

I get a nice hand shake and thank you very much for what you are doing, doing a great job.

I am glad that my bosses have always treated us like family. Every company that I have worked for has been like family. I guess I just have been lucky Laughing

Hmmm...I think it is more of an Italian thing but I have done that in other states, with other people who never came from NY or are Italian lol.

Ew.  I would not want my co-workers to presume they have achieved family status.  and I would not appreciate a boss who wanted to kiss me when I got a bonus or for formal things.  Or really for any reason at all.  Kisses have no place in the office.
