So, how's your day going?

I have a sinking feeling that this day may suck, much like yesterday.

I didn't sleep well last night.  Took forever to get to sleep, then I was hot and sticky, then cold, then a junebug attacked me, tossed and turned much of the night. I had planned to be at work early, but slept 1/2 hour longer than planned to see if I could get some real sleep (no), so was only at work at regular time. This is after I spilled my two beautiful over easy eggs on the floor. And the damned dog wouldn't eat it, so I had to clean it up, lol.

So, how's your day going?

The only thing out of the ordinary for me is that there was a pretty good storm last night and I had to go out and pick up a bynch of tree branches and walnuts that got knocked down.  The walnuts are a pain on the rear because if you just leave them they are liable to sprout the next Spring exactly where you don't want a walnut tree.  Other than that, good.  I had leftover pizza from the 4th of July weekend banshee meetup for breakfast.

It's still morning and my two daughters are still sleeping, DS is playing with the dog.  I just fixed myself a blueberry bagel with cream cheese.  I slept pretty well but I knocked myself out with some melatonin too, Lol.  I seriously need to get DD2's camp gear organized for next month, I do like that we were mailed a checklist for this one.   I hope your day gets better.

Well, definitely better than that (but the day/night is young :) ).  Mailed out some Pampered Chef stuff to a friend who ordered from my party (better late than never) and a pincushion for a pincushion exchange--I was only a week late for that one.  Then I hit up the Martins for groceries and the pharmacy.  yes, I DO live the wild lifestyle ;)

Frustrating so far, I hope the day improves.

Mildly productive. Got some pressing work stuff done. Organized my email forwards. Flossed. I found the leg-thumping scratch spot on the dog and gave it a good workover.

I did have one out-of-the-ordinary thing happen: when I poured some potato chips into a bowl, an unused, wrapped tampon fell into the bowl. I'm not sure how or why. I tossed the bag and reported to ds that we were out of chips and he could opt for some pretzels with his lunch sandwich instead.

Part of me wants to ask questions; another part of me probably doesn't want to know the answers.  ;)

If it helps (and it probably won't,) the chips in question were sent home from a relative's house this weekend. They traveled, with about four other open bags of chips, in a grocery bag in the back of a minivan filled with teenagers. Probably, things just fell in.

I have a rule though. If a tampon infiltrates a food item, it's no longer fit for eating. This rule has served me well so far.

Back to the original question....

So far, so good.  I'm still sore from entirely too much walking this weekend, but other that that things have gone well today.  Yesterday was an entirely different story -- one filled with upset stomachs, cats destroying things, and the like -- but today is good, thanks.  :)
