So, how's your day going?

I have a sinking feeling that this day may suck, much like yesterday.

I didn't sleep well last night.  Took forever to get to sleep, then I was hot and sticky, then cold, then a junebug attacked me, tossed and turned much of the night. I had planned to be at work early, but slept 1/2 hour longer than planned to see if I could get some real sleep (no), so was only at work at regular time. This is after I spilled my two beautiful over easy eggs on the floor. And the damned dog wouldn't eat it, so I had to clean it up, lol.

So, how's your day going?

I could never travel with only three ounces of hair spray, etc.   That's not enough to get me through.

And there's never enough overhead bin space for my 2349 pairs of shoes ... lol

.  Well, yeah.  I travel with two kairos of shoes most of the time.  One I'm wearing.  When I go to England next week I might just take the one pair.

When I'm in DC next month, for 7 days, I'll take at minimum 5 pairs of shoes.  Possibly more.

.  This is why I can travel with just a carry-on. I don't use hair spray and I can get by with two pairs of shoes for a month.

This time I only brought 4 pairs of shoes (flip flops-blue, black and red) and sandals. For a cruise, I bring a lot more. I had 13 picked out but eliminated 2 lol.

. I'm pretty sure that's more shoes than I even own.

I have lost count of how many shoes I have now. I actually haven't got any new ones since Christmas lol.

I actuly need some new shoes but haven't felt like shopping for awhile.  I'll have to get some before school starts, I  guess.

I really can't stand hair spray; I can only just manage to tolerate styling products, and only if it's for  dinner out or something and NOT outside weather (no sweating).  I don't like the feel of my hair with stuff in it.

As far as shoes go, I try to stick with shoes that work with multiple outfits--maybe it makes my feet boring, but I don't care.  When traveling, I look for comfort, for maximum mileage (in terms of outfits they go with), and ease of packing.  And I try to pack as few pairs as I can.

I dont remember the last time I used hairspray. Maybe 20 years ago. I just use a finishing cream which is not heavy on my hair but still keeps it in place and gets rid of frizz.

I could easily do that too, as I just did this vacation but when I go someplace that I am dressing up every night, I like to bring different shoes for almost every outfit.
