I'm not too fond of 2 1/2-3 1/3. And I'm discovering that the pre-adolescent boy is way harder than pre-adolescent girl even when the girl is Erica. However the grandparent stage is the best one of all.

Having experienced 3 times, imo, the teen years are just an extention of the 2s with the addition of hormones.

I have liked *my* children through all the stages (we're doing the teen and preteen years now). But I have trouble liking other people's children through the unreasonable 2s and 3s. There are some exceptions, namely smart, verbal, logical
