What is the weather like where you live

It is holy week if you are christian, What traditions, if any, are in store for you and your family

Do you have a favorite Spring flower

Have you ever run a marathon

Do you prefer sticking to a schedule or are you a more spontaneous person

Gorgeous, Sunny and 79 expected.  We all went to mass last night, This is the first year in a long time my kids were not off on Good Friday and I miss the short school week, I plan a shrimp and alfredo pasta dish on Good Friday and Easter will be spent with extended family.  Lillies, I also love the colors in tulips which have begun blossoming.  No but I know a lot of people that are running their first soon, Hmmm, What a goal!  I'd like to think I am more spontaneous but the week ahead is all about schedules and fitting everybodys' in.

It will be hot, windy with a change of thunderstorms.

No plans for Easter

Lilies

No, the longest I have run is a 10K

I am very much a creature of habit.  No so much that I set a schedule but doing the same thing in the same way over time pretty much sets its own schedule.

It's overcast and drizzly.  Well, it's Holy Week for some Christians. Not all.  It is for us.  We have the downtown ecumenical  procession in about an hour.  All the downtown churches of whatever denomination leave their churches and parade to the tien's main intersection carrying banners and waving palm branches and we gave a short ecumenical service outdoors before heading back to our own churches.  We also have Ndundy Thursday and Good Friday Services to attend as well as the Main Event next week.  We are having a larger than average Easter Dinner this year because it might be the last ine the entire family and extended family will be together for awhile. I have a favorite Spring flower, yes. I have never run a marathon.  I like to have a basic schedule thats not too tightly packed or rigid so we can make way for other things that come up.

Depends upon the day. Today should be in the 60's. Has mostly been in the 50's though.

None really. Easter we still do baskets for the kids and hide eggs. I might go to Saturday night mass as the kids love the candles and that whole mass with older kids and adults getting baptized.

Do you have a favorite Spring flower

No, whatever will bloom is fine with me

Have you ever run a marathon

    Nope

I like a schedule but then when things come up, I usually go with the flow with it, depending on what it is. Like last Sunday we were asked last minute about going out to dinner. I had nothing planned so I was ok with it. If I had plans and had to shift them around, then I might not have been as ok with it. I am more of a planner.

The year DH went through RCIA he partook in the Thursday service, He was asked to act as one of the disciples that got their feet washed, The whole three days before Easter is pretty big in my church too.

I still need to get a lot of Easter shopping done, there are multiple doctor appointments next week and there are school assignments for all of us to do too. I hope next weekend is as nice as this one.

"Well, it's Holy Week for some Christians." -------- This year the East and the West is in sync on Easter. But the old calendar guys are still on their own schedule, obviously.
