1. Do you eat corned beef and cabbage for St. Patrick's Day?

2. Do you watch or are you and/or your children in a St. Patrick's Day parade?

3. Will you be wearing green?

1. Do you eat corned beef and cabbage for St. Patrick's Day?

YES!!-lol!! I usually go to a local deli and get corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, irish soda bread and an ice tea :)

2. Do you watch or are you and/or your children in a St. Patrick's Day parade?

My dd was supposed to be in one but the group cancelled because of the weather we had last weekend. I will watch the NYC parade when I go home for lunch.

3. Will you be wearing green?

Yes. Not sure what at this moment as I think it will be warmer tomorrow so I might not wear the green sweater I was going to originally wear.

Nope, my mom served it every year when I was growing up. My dad still does. I would eat a little bit of the corned beef but the cabbage not at all.

2. Do you watch or are you and/or your children in a St. Patrick's Day parade?

No.

3. Will you be wearing green?

Yes.

I'm of strong Irish descent, as are my children, so I feel we should take this opportunity to celebrate our heritage! (Not that it is an celebration of authentic Irish-ness, or something that would make a lot of sense to native Irishmen, but hey! It's the thought, right?)

My great-grandmother emigrated from Scotland. I have a lot of. Scots-Irish, Scottish, and just plain Irish in my family heritage. We're orangemen through and through though.

I'm Scots born, but of Irish heritage. No corned beef, but I'm looking forward to zeppolas on Friday, St Joseph's Day. They're yummy.
