1. Do you eat corned beef and cabbage for St. Patrick's Day?

2. Do you watch or are you and/or your children in a St. Patrick's Day parade?

3. Will you be wearing green?

I just learned tonight (from an Irish friend) that the Orange came from William of Orange who married Mary to solidify the throne. They were the "William and Mary" that William & Mary was named after. July 12 is when we should were our Orange - from her- Northern Ireland and some parts of Scotland were loyal to William of Orange - but not all parts. Making Mary Queen - who had a tenacious claim to it- was part of the effort to make sure the Monarchy was Protestant and not Catholic. William was Dutch.

I was running around at lunchtime and realized when I came back to work that I forgot to watch the parade for the 20 minutes that I was home-lol!! (my guilty pleasure of reality TV came over me and I watched Wife Swap-lol!!).

While I definately know they edit this show, I know these families do exist.
