We've gone to church, watching Meet The Press, took ground beef out of my freezer for meatballs, jotting notes down for the week then planning for the week ahead, clip coupons, and planning to watch the Cleveland Browns/Bengals game later, Ultimate rivals!  Lol!

How is your Sunday going?

Don't know who you're talking to, but I"ll answer.   When I attend boot camp classes, we often use kettle bells. I also use them in my own individual workouts (at the gym) and when I work with my personal trainer (at the gym).

You seem to be saying that opinions based on fact are opinion rather than fact, which seems rather self-evident.  That doesn't mean that experiences themselves are not facts.  Of course people may interpret facts differently, and come to hold different opinions.  I'm not sure what there is to "chew on" there.

If my experience happened, it is a fact that it happened, not an opinion than it happened.

If my experience happened, it is a fact that it happened, not an opinion than it happened.

"Lab rats" is a colloquial expression for people who are used as experimental subjects.

That is a fact, it is not an exaggeration.

I did not say anything about whether schools test in the same way, or in the same format.  That is irrelevant to the original statement of fact.  Nor did I say anything about how private school operate.  That too, is irrelevant to the original statement of fact.

Since I have offered no opinion whatsoever in this exchange, the fact that my opinions often comes across as insults to you is also irrelevant.

You seem to be insulted by the fact that I have noticed that public school students are often used as experimental subjects.   Your being insulted by this fact is something I neither understand nor have control over.

No, I don't think schools gathering information for the state means that the students inside of them are test rats.  Exaggeration at best.  Besides, not all schools test in the same way or format, not all private schools operate the same way either.  Your opinions come across as insults.

Your experiences and my experiences alike are factual experiences.  For instance, you may quibble with my terming students who are subjects of experimental programs as "lab rats" for departments of education, but it is a fact that ed schools are gathering data from experimental/pilot programs that they test on public school students, and that parents have little or no control on whether their students are participants in these studies.

Why?  Aren't your experiences specific to you?  That may be fact in your head but to someone else it's just your opinion.  I figure a lot of basis for school argument comes from experiences, yours and mine alike - not - fact.

If you draw conclusions at least partially based on experiences that actually happened, aren't those experiences "facts" of some sort?

Where do you get your opinions from?  Experiences.
