We've gone to church, watching Meet The Press, took ground beef out of my freezer for meatballs, jotting notes down for the week then planning for the week ahead, clip coupons, and planning to watch the Cleveland Browns/Bengals game later, Ultimate rivals!  Lol!

How is your Sunday going?

We add all sorts of stuff.  smoked sausage, shredded chicken, loose sausage of some kind, seasoned ground beef ...

When I add meat, it's either smoked sausage or ham. Sometimes both. It's far too dense to be eaten with anything else.

GAB is quite finicky about food, but he seemed to like it. I was a little surprised he even agreed to try it. :)

Well, we will be sure not to invite you to dinner on Red Beans and Rice night.

Yea, When I think of red beans and rice I think of a cajun/southwestern dish with some kind of sausage tossed in.

I think of Spanish/Puerto Rican/El Salvador type of food. That is who I have been with or who have made it when I have had it before.

I originally got this recipe from The Frugal Gourmet. Definitely a Cajun dish.

I should have said "I don't host potlucks." I often get invited to them. I don't mind when it's something like a departmental picnic where there is no real host.
