Man, oh man, I *try* so hard to not judge people for their parenting decisions (regardless of their work status), but yesterday, this one just struck a NERVE!

I'm sure you'll get some flames thrown at you for some of your minor statements within your OP, but I know what you're trying to say and I'm in an intellectual type of mood right now, and choose to just stick to the facts.

I agree she should not take her ill child to daycare. I have a 1 year old that goes to daycare 3 times a week, and I would never dare do that to any other parents. We own two businesses, and I am fortunate I have the flexibility to either stay home, or to take him to work..................but, that is horrid! A child wants to but more importantly NEEDS to rest when sick, a pediatrician of all things should know this.

She is not a credit to moms (or women, or professionals), no matter the status.
