For the criminals who would be considered for the death penalty it does.

"I think the drs. should have removed his feet while he was in the hospital. Let him live with his own dismemberment. Call me evil but he makes me so sick and seeing him rolled into the courtroom in a wheel chair because of his frost bite is just pathetic."

He dismembered her AFTER he killed her. Maybe I'm jaded, I just don't see what the big deal about this case is.

SO do I. So we come full circle again. Once she made that accusation it is apparent that he is guilty. The trial becomes a legality.

<<>>

Well common sense would tell you that one couldnt participate in a lethal injection without a death penalty sentence being handed down right?

<<>>

Again what would MY opinion have to do with his trial?

<<>>

I'll say it again. Your Senator or legislature can explain this is great detail to you.

<<>>

Um ok.

<>

Um right.

<<>>

No and as I have told you more than once now that my opinion has nothing to do with a jury's decision. Unless you can prove that it does the jury is irrelevent.

Again like I have stated I am well aware of the difference. What I dont get is the double standard that tells me that I shouldnt think that taking the life of a human being is right when protected by the law but then that same person saying that they would take the life of a human being to protect their home. There is your double standard.

yea,really.

>>Where is the justice (as the word was used) for this innocent person who was killed? <<
where is the justice for the (innocent until proven otherwise) intruder who gets assasinated in the home that owns a gun....since you're the one who told me there's a difference between self defense and the death penalty being that one guarantees death, maybe you can explain...in the meantime, the fact of the matter remains - both are aims for death. at least the death penalty is justice after a fair trial.
