No they don't, there is no double standard in the links that you posted.

No that again is incorrect.

Again, the evidence does not support that.

The person in question, was immediately re-arrested before she stepped out of prison.

You are correct, the technicality was a deputy who testified falsely and who provided false evidence and prosecutors who withheld evidence from the defendant's attorney.

actually,no....the double standard w/b considering self defense ok but not the death penalty. you even shared in this thread that the difference between the two is that one guarantees death while the other one doesn't. nice debate tactic but double standard in the sense that it makes one aim for death ok but not the other...interesting,indeed.

And it's been explained, over and over and over, how that is NOT a double standard. But of course, you and mbanc are free to use whatever definition of double standard you wish; even if it isn't the one the dictionary or everyone else in teh free world uses.

The difference is that with self defense, the aim is not death. The aim is to repel the person attacking you.

<<actually,no....the double standard w/b considering self defense ok but not the death penalty.>>

I haven't read where anyone said it was "ok" to kill someone in self defense.
