So, do you have a lot of companies that inquire about your credit without your permission or without your request?

I did my research when I needed to, thanks. I would be a little skeptical about someone giving me a better deal than anyone else aroud though. Shrug.

That's why I'll continue to get advice from professionals with knowledge of the industry as, in my very recent and only experience with a broker, they can beat the rates gotten by anonymous internet self-researchers.
