Not really, insofar as travel is concerned.  I do plan to do a lot of work in the yard and am hoping to finally get a garden going.  Now that I have a good compost pile up and running.

Depends on the time in the summer.  Early summer, I like strawberries and cherries. then comes blueberry season.  there's a farm nearby with a pick-your-own plan. Love that place.  Later on, I really love watermelon and then eastern shore cantelope.

 Never owned a convertible; they just dont' do it for me at all.  I did actually have custody of a convertible, if you count my years in the military and my M151.  It was completely open air the first winter I was stationed in Germany, although we got the soft sides and top that March, but we didn't get them installed until after the snow melted in April because we had several field deployments that March.  And once we got them installed, we did NOT remove them.

I've only had one car with a sunroof; that was the Saturn I had before my current car.  But the motor to open it didn't work, so it was basically just a moonroof.  At least it didn't leak and I learned that in the winter, it made a fairly efficient defroster.  Park the car so the front faces east with the interior slide open and the convection of the sun on the windows would defrost virtually every window in the car, except the back window, but since that one had the defrosting grid in it, that wasn't necessary.  Saved me about 10 minutes of defrosting time and scraping in the mornings when I'd leave work.  On the other hand, the interior slide had to be closed in the winter while driving because of heat loss through that window.

Unless/until I retire to some Caribbean island, I can't ever see me wanting a convertible.  And even then, I'll be needing a garage to protect against rain.

General plans, yes.  The kids will go to Germany to see their dad - but we don't know when yet.  My national conf got moved to August instead of the traditional November.  Otherwise just work for me and dh. We'll try to do some fun things while the kdis are gone, but nothing major.

Watermelon.

No, but I've long said my "the kids are grown" car will be a little two-seater covertible.  So, when The Boy turns 16 in 3.5 years, he'll get my RAV 4 and I'll get my convertible.
