1. Do you/so/spouse have to go back to work tomorrow? Frown

2. Sunday plans?

3. Sunscreen: None, 15/30, higher?

I don't think Bord cares about tanning's popularity. More than likely, she's concerned with tanning's dangers.

Why would i bother telling the millions of people laying out or spending their money and time at tanning salons what I think about deliberate tanning? I don't imagine any of them care.

Just because there are lots of stupid (know the dangers and do it anyway) and ignorant (don't know the dangers) people in the world doesn't make sun tanning sensible.

I love being outdoors, but that doesn't mean I'm going to hand myself over as cancer's bitsch. If you want to, have at.  Nobody's stopping you.

Yes many people are not smart to the ways of the sun but it is not something that will ever stop and it is not a "fad". Looking "sun-kissed" is something that has been around forever. Not imaging someone tanning on purpose nowadays is  somewhat odd to me as there will always be people who worship the sun and want a tan.

I totally get that. I am just saying that it is not something that will ever end.

Exactly, I agree with you, they probably just don't. So why couldn't you imagine why someone would sunbathe now? It is for the same reasons people have done for many, many, many years.

It does not change the amount of time I spend outside just the time of day.  Now I ride my bike before work or early morning on weekends because it is in the 90-100s in the afternoon.  In the winter I ride my bike in the afternoon when it is in the 60s because it is cold and dark in the morning.

Also I am not exactly stuck inside like someone who works in an office is, we have two big loading dock doors that are open all day all but about 1/2 dozen days a year.

That is nice, to have the fresh air. I look so forward to my lunch hour to get out and enjoy the nice weather Laughing

I believe when she said, "I can't imagine someone tanning on purpose" she was referring to those with half a brain.

No.  Only those who do so knowing the dangers.  As I said earlier, lots of people are simply ignorant.
