1. Does your home have CAC or AC Units?

2. Does your job now, or any job you ever had, have early days off in the Summer?

3. What is the most romantic thing anyone has done for you?

Nah, we don't really care. Given recent events, a big romantic gesture was probably in order, and it seems to have worked for him. So good on y'all.

1. Does your home have CAC or AC Units?  We have central air, although DH has decided not to use it this summer.

2. Does your job now, or any job you ever had, have early days off in the Summer?  No.

3. What is the most romantic thing anyone has done for you?  When DH and I were "going out" when we were 12, he filled my locker with sweet post-it notes, candy, a teddy bear, and flowers for Valentine's day.  When we dated in high school, he made lots of mix tapes for me (and has made some recently as well).  He wrote a short story for me.  For Christmas one year, he bought plane tickets for me and had his friend shrink wrap them in a dvd case.  His marriage proposal was also very romantic, candles and waterfront.

Not really. It is something we have talked about for about 25 years and something he said he wanted to do for awhile but then got the opportunity.

Oh, that's nice. I'm glad you are happy. You two seem made for each other, Spring.

What are you using to cool down for the summer then?

Wow, I didn't know you guys have been together since 12. Laughing

Thanks Bord. I am a lucky girl no matter what "strangers" think. From the relationships I see from others IRL, I have a lot to be happy about and I count my blessings every day. Life will never be perfect (and not for anyone) but if you have more good then bad, then there is no reason to be happy. Laughing

Opening the windows and spending a lot of time outside on the shady porches.

We "went out" for a year when we were 12/13 and then broke up.  We started dating again when we were seniors in high school.

CAC

Life as a SAHM gets busier in the summer but I do love my days at the pool...

3. What is the most romantic thing anyone has done for you?

My idea of romance is probably different than what you're looking for. In the five love languages my language is acts of service, so that's what floats my boat.

Ugggh....no fans either? We have the ac in our bedroom so we use that at night and the kids use the fans. When it gets really humid (like this week), there is no way I can sleep without something. I lived for 21 years without AC, I won't do it again. lol. Our electric bill actually doesn't even go up much from the AC, it is the lights at Christmas time that we use the most.
