1. Does your home have CAC or AC Units?

2. Does your job now, or any job you ever had, have early days off in the Summer?

3. What is the most romantic thing anyone has done for you?

Spring, does seeing other people unhappy make you happier?

Ummm..no, that makes no sense. I just see what others go through and while I wish NO unhappiness to them, I know that I am truly blessed with what I have.

It sure seems like it when you are constantly pointing out the misery you observe around you.

There is misery EVERYWHERE in the world. Why would I want people to be miserable? I would love to have everyone as happy as I am and where I am in my relationship. It is amazing the comments we have gotten about being married for the amount of years we have. You don't see that much anymore.

We have a converter unit in the sitting area; No; I am not really into "romantic" stuff. My ex was, and that is another reason why he is "ex."

I saw the information in the thread above but I don't know anyone who lurks on you on facebook, other than jams

Jams doesn't need to lurk, she is my friend on facebook. My page is fully open for her Laughing

Really? Staying together is that rare where tou live? My husband is 70 and I am almost 57, and the vast majority of our friends have been narrowed longer than we have. There are split-ups, of course, which are sad, but the people involved USUALLY go in to happier lives after the split up, so we just hug them and wish them all the best and try to assist in the transition if there is a need for that.

1. Right now?  Neither.  The 20 year old system is dead like Jacob Marley and the new one doesn't get installed until Thursday and Friday (with the heat wave, they can't do the entire job in one day because the coil system is in the attic).  Once the new system is in, I will once again have central air.

2. No.  Not without taking leave.

3.  The ex wrote me a love note full of purple prose when we first started dating.  Unfortunately for him, it made me laugh instead of going all gooey.  We probably should have known then we would never last :D  He's always been the kind of guy who luuuuurved smooshy/gooshy/over-emo cards.  Me?  I like a good laugh.

Why do you need to look to others for validation in your own relationship?

I don't, never said I did. I said I am BLESSED with the relationship I have as I know that others do not have what I have and they comment all the time about it.

What lengths Jams?  I'm also a bit confused by your lack of participation in the school debate below, you keep bringing private/pubic school decisions into all kinds of debates, claiming that it's debatable and then you don't debate.

Thanks Jams. REAL friends know me (you included) and the things people say to us really touch me. I would want ALL my friends and family to be happy but I see what many of them go through on a daily basis. YOU know as you are my friend on facebook and see the stories. Oh, I just found out that 2 other couples that I didn't know were going to the wedding are coming too. SOOOO excited.
