1. Does your home have CAC or AC Units?

2. Does your job now, or any job you ever had, have early days off in the Summer?

3. What is the most romantic thing anyone has done for you?

Given the rude "welcome" and your continued hostility, small wonder people don't want to delurk.

Among other reasons, this. Y'all are a tough crowd. Do you always give newcomers the third degree?

I truly apologize if you ARE new but there are so many people that change names on this board that were old posters and we don't usually get many new people come here.

"Maybe I should continue to lurk..." -------- Nah, please join in. How old are your kids?

"Or much higher rates for that matter." ---------- Yes, true, but Jams seemed to be stuck on the lower rates in the groups she belonged to.

Because I'm homeschooling five kids and I work. My time is limited. School is taking a break and I thought I'd jump in yesterday. Maybe I should continue to lurk...

With the changing of names so often, I find it very hard to believe this person was just "lurking". Undecided

Jams, since I was trying to check Dr. Heller's information, I googled around a bit. It seems that there is a fair amount of discussion of just what the divorce stats really are, and how they should be compiled. It frankly surprises me that this should be so complicated, but OK. Also, many of the writers argue, like Dr. Heller, that divorce is mostly a problem for poor people, and therefore it doesn't "count." However, my original comments regarding stats still stand, and whatever the overall, true divorce rate is, it is not disproved by specific groups that have much lower rates of divorce.

Or much higher rates for that matter.
