If you are a church goer (or were) do you dress up or are you more laid back and your clothing more casual

Where do you draw your inspiration from

Do you color your hair and if so, 1) when was the last time and 2) do you color it regularly

What are you reading

If you rent movies, what was the last one you rented and was it good

I said if that if pep talks could really do all that, we would not have so many problems in the world. I have not been critical of any views. i am just trying to understand what people mean.</span></strong></p>

I don't think pep talks are lame. And while I wouldn't use "solve" to mean what pep talks do I do believe they are a coping mechanism, Name one problem and you'll find many support networks that people do benefit from.

A lot of people don't find pep talks lame. Roll and I do. My friend Heather (dare I call her my BFF?) is a big lover of pep talks. They really help her to get motivated; they might even inspire her.

But that's what's interesting about dicussions like this (when they're not being made into ridiculous drama) - the differences. My friend Heather and I can be so deeply connected, and love and respect each other, even though I think all the pep talks and quotes and pretty pictures are lame.

So this friend of yours knows you find them lame? Curious.

yes she does. That was pretty obvious from my other posts.

"Your dh has never done anything to inspire you?"

Again, inspire me to DO what? It really is not clear what you mean by "inspire" in this context.

"You have quoted me wrong."

I did not quote you. I paraphrased what you said. Go back and read your post about "millions of people," and you will see what I mean.

"I don't know what you'd call it if the purpose behind those support groups wasn't to inspire and empower others to succceed on their own journeys."

Now weight watchers is also "inspiration"?

I think the bigger question is how is a pep group/rally not be a coping mechanism.. Cope meaning to deal with something of course.

I am sorry, but that makes no sense. Also, if it is simply some sort of therapy exercise, which is what you seem to be saying, how is that inspiring?
