1.  The bishop for our archdiocese came to our church for Palm Sunday Mass and my older two kids were asked to altar serve which was quite an honor for them.  Myyounger son didn't realize who he was and asked dhday the beginning why the priest was dressed up like the pope, LOL.  After we got home dh and I took off in different directions as both the boys had lacrosse tournaments in different cities.  I got the local one and am home now thawing infront of a fire I just made and am going to read my book shortly.

2.  I'm wearing jeans, silk long underwear and a wool sweater.  It was cold out there on the lax field!  I'll have to changeshortly as the fire is really warming me up.

3.  I can't really qualify anything as "best" as there are too many pieces of advice that have beenimportant in the various stages of their lives.

4.  Favorite room is my family room - it has 10 windows on three sides so in summer, is like a screened in porch that sits up in the trees (full story off theground) and in the winter has a nice water view with gorgeous sunsets.  And cozy with its wood burning fireplace, which I'm enjoying right now!

I don't know what happened. I answered this earlier but my reply disapeared.

We went to a bridal shower. I have one errand to run to drop something off and some bookkeeping to do aside from that have some down time.

I am wearing jeans and a light pick sweater.

I do not know if would tecnically under parenting advice.  When DH got orders to Turkey we have 24 hours to decide whether the family would go with him or he would go along.  A base chaplain told us "In the Air Force you do not alway have the choice, when you do keep the family together".

My favorite room is the family room. It is very comfortable. Also it is where everyone gathers when they come over so it has some good memories.

That is so true. I can't tell which of DS's friends were breast or bottle-fed, which were cloth diapered vs. disposable, which were fed organic, homemade baby food vs. jarred. You also can't tell which kids have SAHP and which have WOHP...

On Wednesdays we wear pink.

Church in the morning.  We missed first service because I slept in after watching grandkids last night.  Afternoon, I'll sew to make up from babsitting yesterday.  Dylan has biology homework to finish.  Dh will grill for dinner.  And I have to go grocery shopping unless I can put it off one more day (not likely).

Jeans and blouse.  Slippers right now, will change into walking shoes for church.

Have no idea.

The sewing room for obvious reasons. ;)

Plans for the day? I'm having a lazy morning while DH and the kid run errands.  This evening we are going to see Fiddler on the Roof at our local theater.

What are you wearing? Flannel pjs and a tank top

What's the best piece of parenting advice you've ever received? Who gave it to you?  Read, read ,read to him.   My grandma.

What's your favorite room of your house and why?  I love the dining room.  It turned out just how I imagined in my head.  The paint color is golden and reminds me of sunlight.  I love the big window that lets in real sunlight and a nice view of the yard and trees.  It's peaceful.

Plans for the day?

Already went to a kids bday parry (did not stay though, walked through the mall lol). Chilling out at home for a little while until we go to bday boy's house for dinner and cake.

What are you wearing?

Black v-neck long sleeve shirt, charcoal short sleeve button sweater, dark skinny jeans, black suede boots

What's the best piece of parenting advice you've ever received? Who gave it to you?

Nothing lasts forever. Not sure who told me but when you are in the middle of the phases, you think they will never end and now I think back and can't remember many of them.

What's your favorite room of your house and why?

Love all rooms but maybe my kitchen more as it is the most updated. Love my living room as it is cozy and inviting and my bedroom because I love to jump into a comfy bed at the end of the day lol. My bathroom needs some updating so some days I find it ok but some days I just hate it. lol

Plans for the day? Frequent shoveling and enjoying the view. We've got near whiteout conditions right now.

What are you wearing? pajamas, a hoodie & slippers

What's the best piece of parenting advice you've ever received? Who gave it to you? My mom's advice on CIO (which was applicable in many situations, not just CIO) and the wife of a colleague of my husband who once said, "You think every stage is the hardest, but the truth is that each stage prepares you for the next and they're all hard."

What's your favorite room of your house and why? My bedroom because it is a calm space with my favorite chair for studying and napping.

On Wednesdays we wear pink.

Plans for the day?  Walking with friend this afternoon hopefully, and my dad is coming over for dinner.  I may make some peanut butter cookies for dessert.

Plans for the day? We did not have any plans, but some old friends called and said they were downtown for church, would we have lunch. So we took them to the tennis club for lunch, where we ate on the terrace in the first real spring weather. They had their 1yo along and he played with the other kids there. It was nice.

What are you wearing? Slim jeans, black mary janes with a heel, blue, cowl-neck Stefanel sweater I bought the other day and love over a black, John Smedley turtleneck, black, unstructured wool jacket, shades.

What's the best piece of parenting advice you've ever received? Who gave it to you?"Leave them be, children need peace." An old, child-less art historian who dated my aunt for many years.

What's your favorite room of your house and why? Dining room, because it has a long, unvarnished wood table that I like to sit and work at.
