Adjusting back to reality.  Way too many clothes compared to yesterday. Trust yourself, I don't remember. Family room, everything happens in here.

Plans for the day?  relaxed...

What are you wearing?  jeans, white turtle neck, slippers

What's the best piece of parenting advice you've ever received? Who gave it to you?   Along the lines of breastmilk/formula, cloth/disposable, it all goes fast and these early choices aren't as important as later parenting choices.  Many people gave that advice.

What's your favorite room of your house?  sunroom

and why?  There are no electronics in there so I'm forced to read or nap.

Plans for the day?

I had the final matinee of my latest show today at 1pm. the girl and her best friend came wth me and ushered then helped with set strike.  The show was great- big crowd and I nailed my punchlines so I was very happy. Alway sad to see a show close though!

What are you wearing? Jeans and my favorite bright red GAP sweatshirt, no shoes or socks

What's the best piece of parenting advice you've ever received? Who gave it to you? That 'things" are just things' and anything broken by accident can be replaced and never get upset over accidental breakage of things ... my mother said this all the time and I've tried to live by it. I swear next to "offer it up " her favorite catchphrase was "it's just a THING.. and things don't matter"

What's your favorite room of your house and why? I love our living room with its awesome sectional and comfy pillows.. but I think I have a secret weakness for the girls' groovy hot pink hangout of a bedroom.. I spend alot of time in there with her just 'chillin"

Plans for the day?

Breakfast with my father, Palm Sunday Service, went to my son's gig at the coffeehouse, making dinner now, and a little work before watching the Walking Dead with my 15yo ds.

What are you wearing?

Jeans, tShirt, sneakers, salmon-colored sweatshirt

What's the best piece of parenting advice you've ever received? Who gave it to you?

Don't know the best, but I'm having some issues with my ods and I had lunch with a friend yesterday, the best mom I know, a mom of 13, who reassured me that this too shall pass, she's BTDT.

What's your favorite room of your house and why?

Depends on the season, winter family room with fireplace, spring living/dining area with a great view of ocean, the deck/sunroom overlooking ocean, fall back to living/dining area.

Just returned from seeing Oz with the kids.  Spaghetti dinner, meatballs are cooking and sauce simmering. I'll pack lunches later, Plans for an early night b/c tomorrow is school but it's going to be a short week, Yay!

A yellow turtleneck, jeans and sneakers.

Two pieces of parenting advice I'll never forget:  "Just love her", Mom told me this when we took our newborn to see her in the nursing home she was in and I believe these were her last words to me too. "Always find the good"  was a mantra dad and mom not only spoke but also lived.

Probably the tv room b/c we spend the most time there, And frankly, that's where my favorite furniture is, Lol.
