1. Who was your last celebrity sighting? Who was the biggest celebrity sighting?

2. What's for dinner?

3. How hot is it by you?

I forgot a couple, Fred Willard and Penn and Teller.  In both of those cases it was something that I did pay to go see but since we had actual interaction (and pictures) I think that it would count.

I do not think that anyone can really tell the true character of someone on a sighting or short interaction.  We all have good days and bads days.  Someone could be a jerk in real life but is very good at putting on a public face,   In the same way that someone could be a very sweet and caring  in real life but having a bad day.

Oh my Jams, I'm also sorry to hear about your Parkinson's disease. Do you live in a medical marijuana state? I've heard that smoking a bowl every now and then helps.

I really admired HW as President.  He did things which were right but not popular and of course was not re-elected. Frown  Unusual for an incumbent.  He handled Sadam Hussein properly and rightly kept him in power.  His son sadly was a complete idiot and we are living with the consequences.

"I follow Caroline Kennedy and love the causes she advocates." ------- Dh has met both her and her mother and said they were both very nice and knowledgable people. My only contact was waiting on JFK Jr. a few times.

I agree I watch too much TV. So far this summer, that was twenty minutes of my life I'll never get back. And if some of these people are raunchier or more vile in person than they come across in interviews, I'm content to let the exact degree of raunchiness remain vague.

You can waste time at the tv or on the internet.  Just so long as it has never, all of these many, many years, been on your employer's dime.  Right, Bord?

"Someone could be a jerk in real life but is very good at putting on a public face," ----------- That is where it is funny when you are "staff." It makes you invisible and celebrities will often behave like themselves more, since you don't "count." Although some are jerks (Sting springs to mind), others are surprisingly nice (Broderick, Goldblum, Kevin Kline), at least in my experience.

I think there are two sides to the Kennedy family ~ Jackie's side and the rest.  I'll always remember Ted as a murderer.  His years in office didn't change that.  But I know he was very popular.

Late to the party:

1. My sister.

2. Was this dinner? Yesterday we grilled w/the ILs. I had a pork steak, a ton of fruit and veggies, and some chocolate cake.

3. It's usually cool, yesterday felt downright cold.

Nice?  We have very different standards.  Broderick killed two innocent women, then evaded punishment like a little coward.  I can't admire people like that.  Different strokes.

"Michael J. Fox" I once had to tell him, rather sternly, to wait on line like everyone else.

Really? lol. I saw him and his wife on their honeymoon

Who is Chris Farnjola?

Comedian on Chelsea Lately and Lately After (but writes for many other shows)
