2. At what age did you/would you let your child date?

3. Swimming Pools: Do you jump right in or sit on the side?

1. Flip flops?  Not yet.

2. Probably 16.

3. It's not summer if I don't have daily pool access.  I'll hop fences if I have to, but there will be swimming.

Have you been able to wear flip flops/sandals/open toed shoes yet?  No, as the weather guy said this morning, there is arctic air moving over our region.  It has barely gone over 42, but it's very sunny.

2. At what age did you/would you let your child date?  16 on a real one on one date.

3. Swimming Pools: Do you jump right in or sit on the side?  It is so rare that I ever see a pool...

I did wear my favorite tevas yesterday on a road trip - a little chilly but loved it!  My wife even painted her toes in celebration - I haven't gotten there yet.  I have horrid feet from years of dance and the fact that I like to be barefoot so much.. so painting my nails is the least I can do LOL

2. At what age did you/would you let your child date? one on one probably 16-- in a group she could do that at 14...which is in about 3 weeks.. but since there's not really anyone on the horizon i'm not too concerned about it at this point

3. Swimming Pools: Do you jump right in or sit on the side? I LOVE to swim-- am happiest in the water- so I'd be right in there with the kids-- I may sit out for a bit and then jump in when i get hot - ust like I do at the beach. In fact at the beach I can usually be found body surfing the waves with whatever group of 14- year old boys happens to be doing the same thing.  my favorite thing to hear is "Hey lady! here' comes a good one! get ready!"  ;-)

1. Have you been able to wear flip flops/sandals/open toed shoes yet?

Yes. Will wear them again today after I finish mowing the lawn.

2. At what age did you/would you let your child date?

IDK--we're not there yet. I was 14. I'm pretty sure that was younger than my mom would have said she'd allow when I was my kids' ages now, so we'll wait and see...

3. Swimming Pools: Do you jump right in or sit on the side?

Depends on the temperature of the day and water...

On Wednesdays we wear pink.

I wear Tevas pretty much year-round.  I hate wearing shoes and only do it if it's chilly enough to absolutely have to (like below 50).

2. At what age did you/would you let your child date?

No clue.  He's 19 and hasn't ventured into that territory yet.  I probably would have let him at around 16 or so.  I'd definitely let him now.  :)

3. Swimming Pools: Do you jump right in or sit on the side?

Neither.  Pools and I don't get along.  I only swim in the ocean.

. Have you been able to wear flip flops/sandals/open toed shoes yet?

Yes, for months.  We were on vacation in a warm area and I wore them then and have worn them many times since.

2. At what age did you/would you let your child date?

We didn't/don't have a certain age in mind but required them to be group dates up until this year.

3. Swimming Pools: Do you jump right in or sit on the side?

Both.

1. Have you been able to wear flip flops/sandals/open toed shoes yet?  It has been warm enough, but I haven't.

2. At what age did you/would you let your child date?  Depends on the kid.

3. Swimming Pools: Do you jump right in or sit on the side?  I prefer to be in the water.

Flipflops have been out for several weeks, but I've been in Californnia and Vegas

2. At what age did you/would you let your child date?

My daughter had a boyfriend freshman and sophmore year in hs, but we drove them on all there dates. She hasn't had a boyfriend past 16, though she dates occasionally.

3. Swimming Pools: Do you jump right in or sit on the side?

Depends on air temp and water temp. If water is warm (>80) and air is hot, I plunge right in. If water is cold (<80), I might gradually go in.

Yes, FInally broke out the sandals!

I don't make the call, DDs have a lot of guy friends and DD1 has been close friends with one in particular.  They don't really "date" but we did plan a pizza night with him and his parents and it was real nice meeting them all.

I tend to sit pool side but I do dive in when it gets too hot, Lol, Looking forward to Summer!
