1. Have you been able to wear flip flops/sandals/open toed shoes yet?

Just got my spring pedicure yesterday and had my flip flops on and have sandals on today :)

2. At what age did you/would you let your child date?

Probably 16 but it seems my 14 yr. old is starting to get into this now (just hanging out as friends she calls it, I call it a date lol, movies and mall)

3. Swimming Pools: Do you jump right in or sit on the side?

I love swimming but most often then not, I sit on the side

Well,I'm always able to wear flip flops :)  But I've been wearing them off and on for a while now.  And for the foreseeable future, they're all I can wear since I sprained a toe last night.

I let him date at 16.

Both.  Not at the same time, tho because that would confuse the other guests :)

1. Do not wear flip flops but have been wearing sandals for a few weeks.  I have a co-worker who wear flip flops to work year round.

2.  There was no real set age, depended on the circumstances.    To have a date pick them up and ot go somewhere for the most part they were 16.  But prior to that there were circumstances of parent driven events,  school dances, movies etc.  Sometmes it was a group of mixed sex kids, sometimes couples.

3. Jump in.  DH does not like to swim so we do not choose swimming as a leisure time activity so when I get the chance to swim I take advantage of it.  I try to choose hotels that have pools.  DH sits on the side and I swim.

1. Have you been able to wear flip flops/sandals/open toed shoes yet? Yes

2. At what age did you/would you let your child date? We don't have this dating thing here, as far as I know.

3. Swimming Pools: Do you jump right in or sit on the side? The last pool I was close to was last summer. I swam in it, which is unusual for me.

"To have a date pick them up and ot go somewhere for the most part they were 16" -------- Yeah, we skipped that whole thing. The only boyfriends I have met are the two (one at a time though) she has brought home with her from college.

1. I only wear flip-flops or sandals at the beach or pool and haven't been to either yet this year. 2. I don't have a set age to allow the boys to date. My older one went on a few dates in his sophomore and junior year but never had a steady girlfriend until his senior year. My younger one gas his eye on a young lady right now, but so far all he's done is give her rides home from work.  3.  I don't see the point of going to the pool unless I'm planning on swimming.

Wore sandals last night out to dinner.

2. At what age did you/would you let your child date?

We're not at that point, he's much more interested in insects and science than girls. When he's ready, we'll figure it out.

3. Swimming Pools: Do you jump right in or sit on the side?

Most of the pools here are zero depth so I walk in.

1. Have you been able to wear flip flops/sandals/open toed shoes yet? -- I wear open-toed shoes year round, so yes.  But I've also broken out the flip flops a few times already.

2. At what age did you/would you let your child date? -- The Girl really started dating at 15.

3. Swimming Pools: Do you jump right in or sit on the side? -- Both.  I usually lay and bask in the sunshine until it's so hot I can't stand it anymore, then I dive in, cool off for a bit, then go lay in the sun again. Lather, Rinse, Repeat.

DD2 never had any boyfriends in high school but she did attend a couple of proms with male friends.

DD1 had a boyfriend her freshman year and then another one her senior year of high school.  She also attended a prom with a male friend between boyfriends.

DD3 went through lots of boyfriends in high school and in her first couple of years of college but has been with the same young for 4 years.  He was actually a friend in high school (although she did have a crush on him) which developed to a romantic relationship in college.

Yes, FInally broke out the sandals!

I don't make the call, DDs have a lot of guy friends and DD1 has been close friends with one in particular.  They don't really "date" but we did plan a pizza night with him and his parents and it was real nice meeting them all.

I tend to sit pool side but I do dive in when it gets too hot, Lol, Looking forward to Summer!
