LOL.. I have several friends who use that adn I kind of like it.

have you ever heard the Killer's song "Be Still" - It reminds of of that song I guess.  The first three months of this year were so damn hard.. I listened to this song on repeat every morning in the car:

"Be still
And go on to bed
Nobody knows what lies ahead
And life is short
To say the least
We're in the belly of the beast

Be still
Wild and young
Long may your innocence reign
Like shells on the shore
And may your limits be unknown
And may your efforts be your own
If you ever feel you can't take it anymore

Don't break character
You've got a lot of heart
Is this real or just a dream?
Rise up like the sun
Labor till the work is done

Be still
One day you'll leave
Fearlessness on your sleeve
When you've come back, tell me what did you see
What did you see
Was there something out there for me?

Be still
Close your eyes
Soon enough you'll be on your own
Steady and straight
And if they drag you through the mud
It doesn't change what's in your blood
(Over chains)
When they knock you down

Don't break character
You've got a lot of heart
Is this real or just a dream?
Be still
Be still
Be still
Be still

Over rock and chain
Over sunset plain
Over trap and snare
When you're in too deep
In your wildest dream
In your made up scheme
When they knock you down
When they knock you down

Don't break character
You've got sooooo much heart
Is this real or just a dream?
Oh Rise up like the sun
And labor till the work is done
Rise up like the sun
Labor till the work is

Rise up like the sun
And labor till the work is done"

"when was the last time or any time I put up personal info about someone or their family?" ---------- Are you trying to say that you are reformed and that you won't do that kind of stuff anymore? Then why were you trying to hack my yahoo account a few weeks ago, again?

Apropo of nothing, every time you post this, I have this overwhelming urge to wear thong sandals with socks.  And sing commercial jingles.  :D

"Who the HECK would call someone's job and tell them about what they do online? " ----------- Apparently you would, judging from the available evidence.

"jamblessedthree wrote:I never said you did. An email was sent to a poster's inbox with my name attached to it.. It got traced back to Oklahoma! I may have to hire my own private investigator if that stuff continues." -------- OK, that is weird. Do keep in mind that only one poster here kept telling you and spring to check your emails.

If that is the only thing that truly matters then practice what you preach.

NOt that i have to explain myself but here goes... you can choose for what I say to mean less than nothing.. but two years ago I walked away from thsi and the other board in an attempt regain a civil party of me I was losing.  During the election season I found myself starting to go back there adn I made an effort again to pull myself up short and re assess where I was and I stopped all political posting.   The fact that I have several very conservative, even tea-party type friends on my feed kept me in check.  I left their posts alone, I didn't engage and I didn't inflame and at times it was very hard and once or twice I failed. but I tried.   When i cam back here i felt the old habits starting again and yes I did indulge them more than once adn again for that i'm sorry.   This is a struggle I fight the same way I fight being fat.. I love to debate and argue but over meaningful things.. but I was carrying it too far.. so just as Im dieting again to not be so fat I'm trying again to not be so mean.

As for Boston, am I an 'insider"? no of course not. but I'm 50 miles up the road and had five friends running, one of whom was between the two bombs when they went off with my co worker watching from the sidewalk... my daughters best friend was there on a school trip and was 3 blocks down the street from teh blast.. my best friend is a big shot at the nearest hostpial which saw the firt wave of victims and he talked to me last night about the trauma of it all.. and how bad he had felt that an hour earlier he and I were joking about "oh those smug skinny runners in their silver blankets"  it is a miracle none of my friends there were hurt... but Bosotn o Patriots day is special to all of us in New England and this hurt big time.   And in the face of that hurt none of this matters .. at all.

be well
