Spaghetti, I just finished rolling meatballs.

It depends on the bbq, I've brought anything from a nice bottle of wine to fruit or a pasta salad to brownies.

OMgosh, Good question.  Dad and mom were first generation American and both sets of parents came from Italy through Ellis Island, I think they met b/c their parents/families knew eachother (but ftr, their relationship was not an arranged one).

1. What's for dinner? -- honey braised brats and spicy slaw

2. When invited to BBQ's in the summer, what signature dish do you usually bring? -- I have several that I rotate.  Pasta salad, mushroom salad, black bean salad, homemade mango or regular salsa, bruschetta ....

3. Where did your parents meet? -- In college. My mother's brother introduced them.

1. No idea.  I haven't made any decisions one way or the other.  could just be a long, hot soak in the tub

That sounds great.  I overdid it a bit on the workouts this weekend, so I"m  pretty achy and tired.

My youngest brother has pneumonia so I'm making a large pot of homemade chicken soup made with a hearty stock. I plan to deliver half to him.

Wine. And I help them drink it too. My family expects homemade soft pretzels regardless of what time of the year it is. I literally cannot make enough of them. I made 5X batch for Christmas and there wasn't a single one left at the end of the night.

My parents grew up in the same neighborhood. My mom was 14, dad was 16, when they started dating.

1. What's for dinner? We went out. My uncle and cousin were in town and took us out.

2. When invited to BBQ's in the summer, what signature dish do you usually bring? We do not go to BBQs and I do not have a "signature dish."

3. Where did your parents meet? At a dinner party.

1. What's for dinner?

I just had cereal. DD is at a friend's house. DH & DS have practice. Miraculously I'm sure to SPRING, DH has been the head coach of DS's team for the last few years. And he is a fabulous coach. Truly. The kids and parents adore him.

2. When invited to BBQ's in the summer, what signature dish do you usually bring?

I always bring a safe dessert for itty bitty and usually some sort of side--I don't have a signature dish b/c I like to try different things.

3. Where did your parents meet?

Elementary school. But my grandmother set them later when Daddy was in the service and Mom was in HS. And they eloped and kept it a secret--it is quite the romantic story from those kids!

On Wednesdays we wear pink.

Sounds like you need that long soak in the tub more than me lol. I did sleep until 9:30 this morning though but was up with hubby until 2am so needed the sleep ;)

Seriously. I think carpet installers must be paid by the staple :)

Lol. We took up our carpets but had someone install the new one (went to hardwood in all other rooms). What a pain that was. My living room one was horrible as it was right after my dog died and he had started losing control from old age.

That happens.  I buy Nature's Miracle in the gallon jug :)

With 6 cats in the house (holy crap, I have TOO many cats!! LOL), it's just a LOT easier to keep up with the cat hair when there are hard floors.  I vacuum daily, but even with that, there's always SOME hair on the carpets.  With hard floors, you know you've got it all.  Well, for 5 minutes anyway :)

As God is my witness, I will NEVER have more than 1 or 2 cats once these guys cross the bridge :)
