1. What's for dinner?

2. When invited to BBQ's in the summer, what signature dish do you usually bring?

3. Where did your parents meet?

Oh puleeease....everyone said they would have a "good" peice of chocolate or "good" glass of wine. Where was something mentioned about a VERY unhealthy, junky food they would eat?

Grasshopper Pie. Look it up. I'll be waiting here for my apology since I know how important you think they are.

Why do you have full control of the meals in your home PKA? Your dh does not shop or cook?

Why can't she? If that works for her family, who are you to question it?

Then why do you keep demanding that we do?

BTW, speaking of the tragedy in Boston, has anyone seen the picture floating around of the little boy who was killed? He's holding up a sign he made asking for peace. It just breaks my heart.

I kind of hate that picture and I've been actively hiding those in my FB feed who are crass enough to post it. It's shameful to use his picture in that way; it makes me want to cry for his parents. Leave them to their grief and have some decency about turning him into some kind of cause. He's not a symbol; he's a little boy and not a single one of the people (in my feed) who have posted it ever met him, or his parents.

I feel the same way about all the pictures people were taking of the victims as they were lying, bleeding and wounded and helpless, on the sidewalk. It's ghoulish.

and why ditht he board get so dead when I was gone but suddenly, everyone came out of the woodwork. Why would that be? I didnt make anyone leave or return.

Speaking for myself, I left because I and most of those who used to post at iVillages Stepmom/Biomom Debate Board left to create our own forum, and I was busy supporting and building that new community. Now that we're firmly established, it doesn't need my constant internet presence like it did at first.

And since YOU didn't return until I came back, I could ask you the same question.

Those teenagers could have gotten her son in trouble with school and put into jail. But I guess that is different than something that had NO threat in it. BAER.

No, that is not what was said. There was a possible threat in both situations, they were different situations and were handled as they should have been. What is still unclear at this point?

A friend wGraham's deadly access and not much going on either.

They aren't faceless, that's the point.
