What is everyone doing for superbowl sunday. I have never been a big football fan, however, superbowl sunday has become a tradition in our house, and this year because the CAROLINA PANTHERS are in it, we are having some friends over, and im actually going to bake a cake and draw a panther on it. im going out friday night or saturday and scour the area for some carolina panther decorations to hang in the den. everyone is bringing some food and drinks, OK, beer! and we'll just have all the kids drive them home!! LOL. not really, but we will have a good time.

GO PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We dont have a big screen tv and i really wish we did, but im not buying one for one night of fun, so we will all get to see the game anyway, and i dont think our friends much care what size tv its on anyway. just a good excuse, like you, to get together and hang out.

I have absolutely no plans. I'm a social-football-fan. Hate teh sport .. don't like watching it, but if friends, food and beer are involved ... I'm there!

I'm hoping something crops up between now and Sunday ...

Choose your friends by their character and your socks by their color.  Choosing your socks by their character makes no sense and choosing your friends by their color is unthinkable.

Probably nothing. Dh has to work, one of my friends usually has a superbowl party but we havent heard from them yet. If she has her party, the kids and I might go and dh might come by after work. Otherwise I think I'll just take the kids to a movie or something-we are hockey fans here, not football, LOL.

Ha! Right now I'm trying to arrange being out of town. If I plan it right, I can leave Friday night and come home about an hour after it starts. If I can't arrange that, then I'm holing up in the house from Friday night till Monday morning.

DH will probably go to a superbowl party; I'm staying home with the kids. He's torn because we ususally go to a party, but the ONLY way to get there from here is by passing the stadium, and traffic will be a nightmare.

Do I sound like a spoilsport, or what? On the positive side, I like watching the commercials.

Well we are football people. My oldest son will be turning 10 in a few weeks and he wanted to have a super bowl birthday party. He is a little disappointed that the Rams are not in it, but looking forward to his party.

So on Sunday my house will be over run with 10 year old football players and their parents. It should be fun.

Snowboard lessons if its not excruciatingly cold. A Christmas gift to me from my dh. We are being kicked out of our house for the second weekend in a row for further installation of our new kitchen appliances and cabinets. I will probably use my mom's as home base.

I used to love to watch the SuperBowl for the commercials but don't feel comfortable doing it in front of the kids. Too many racy commercials. We are a mostly PBS family! I guess I'll read about all the funny new commercials on the internet the Monday after.

We're having our traditional Super Bowl with DH's best friend and his wife. We've spent every Super Bowl with them. They'll come to our house since we have the young kids. I'm getting a spiral cut ham, cole slaw, mac and cheese and other pickins. Might also have the next door neighbors over and or my other buddy, Renee.
