1. Are you having a superbowl party/invited to one?

2. Do you watch the game/watch the commercials/and/or are just there for the food and company?

3. Who are you rooting for?

And Johnny Unitas never stepped football foot in Indianapolis, but that's where his football statue resides.

:::shrug::: It may have been good for Indy, but it sucked ass for Baltimore and it was done in an extremely sleazy way. And no WAY should they have been permitted to keep the name Colts.

The irrational aspect I spoke of was that I was never a Colts fan and responded so emotionally to the screw over that Baltimore received.

I don't care so much that they moved, but I just can't like them there b/c they used to be our team here. By the same token, I will NEVER like the Ravens b/c of how Cleveland got screwed. My father is from Cleveland and has always been a Browns fan, so when the team moved to Baltimore, it devastated him. Thank God they weren't able to bring the Browns name with them.

Having said all that, I don't really have a huge allegiance to any team, even the Redskins, which is the team I grew up with really (and they were actually GOOD then). I do root for the Redskins though b/c I won't let my kids like the Ravens. The Redskins is their only other home team choice since we live near both Baltimore and Wash DC so we have a choice! Of course, dh is from San Francisco, so they like the 49ers too.

I think in all honesty, the only team we collectively agree to dislike are the Cowboys!!!

I can't even believe how much I hate the Colts for leaving Baltimore. And I was never a fan. But that sleazy move just pissed me off. And don't get me started on the Unitas statue in INDIANAPOLIS!!!!! :D It's completely irrational of me, I know, but I just can't help it.

1. Are you having a superbowl party/invited to one? **No, no one I know has them anymore b/c we all have kids and our kids have school the next day. The game starts too late to be able to go anywhere and watch it until the end and still get our kids to bed at a decent hour. Dh would much rather watch it at home anyway.

2. Do you watch the game/watch the commercials/and/or are just there for the food and company? **Sometimes I watch the game but usually I'm just in the same room and doing something else, like reading the Sunday paper. I'll watch this year b/c I'm interested in who is playing.

3. Who are you rooting for? **Definitely the Saints given their history. I don't really have any affinity toward the Colts, especially since they left Baltimore years ago.

1. Are you having a superbowl party/invited to one? No.

2. Do you watch the game/watch the commercials/and/or are just there for the food and company? Sometimes. I haven't been to a superbowl party in about 6 years.

3. Who are you rooting for? I just found out who's playing in the Superbowl this morning, because someone on the bus was talking about it. (After he gave a play-by-play description of the latest WWE wrestling matches).
