Why is your job an ideal one?
b.  What is the ideal job and why if you are not there?

What are you looking forward to?

Where do you see yourself five years from now?  Ten (if you can project that far ahead, Lol!)?

Bonus:  Do you like the name George?

Weird. I answered, posted. and it disappeared.  (after the usual iSwillage login fiasco)

Why is your job an ideal one?
b.  What is the ideal job and why if you are not there? -- I wouldn't say my job is the ideal one for me but it is way more than satisfactory. I don't know what my ideal job would be. One where I'd make six figures working 20 hours a week at home in my fuzzy bunny slippers. Or one that paid me six figures to eat bacon and chocolate.

What are you looking forward to? -- My professional conference. I fly out Friday and meetings start on Saturday. It will be a very busy 5 days, and quite a bit of hard work. But it will also be fun. Good food and good friends - colleagues that I only see 2-3 times a year.

Where do you see yourself five years from now?  Ten (if you can project that far ahead, Lol!)? -- Five years from now I'll be right here. I don't plan on making any major changes until The Boy graduates from High School.  Ten years? I'd like to be in a more advanced position, which means changing employers. And I might be a grandma by then!

Bonus:  Do you like the name George? -- I wouldn't choose it. But it's a wonderful name for a Royal.

b.  What is the ideal job and why if you are not there?

I attached the "ideal" job lol

What are you looking forward to?

Do you really need to ask? Laughing

b.  What is the ideal job and why if you are not there?

One that pays these salaries: $3,352/month and $4,164/month. I guess they are not TOO bad UNLESS this is with a masters degree Laughing

My ideal job would be p/t in the community and it would not interfere with my kids' school schedules or activity/sport schedules.  I am not motivated by money so I don't know what the pay would be but in the real world I believe most people are paid what they are worth.

The JDRF walk a little over a month from now, I've already surpassed our fundarising goal!  Yay!

This is hard to visualize but I look back 10 years ago and could not have pictured where we are now either, Lol.  10 years from now I will have kids in college or out of school and I hope their journeys will include bigger and better things.  I'll be grayer then and I'll be working but what or where that is I really don't know yet.  I have a real life mentor I'd love to be when I grow up, she and her husband do so much for their community and they are so faithful.

I love old names so George is a real hit to me.

Only ivillage and by some posters is a nice salary, honest living and higher education mocked.

Oh...you see I found the salaries, ones I was told I wouldn't be able to Laughing

Nice salary-it is ok but not enough with a masters degree, IMO

Honest living-who doesn't make an honest living?

Higher education mocked-nope, not mocked at all. I am ALL for higher education and the reason you get it to get a higher salary in life.

And here I am thinking that the reason to go to college and get advanced degrees is to become a more educated person. "Glad you cleared that one up for us all."(Said No_Body ever)

I do not know what an ideal job would be.  If things were too easy it would get boring plus  you would miss out on the satisfaction of tackling something hard and succeeding .  I do not love my job, but I like it.  Even on the days that I hate it there is that satisfaction at the end of the  day of doing a good job.

Nothing in the near future buy my sister and her family are visiting in a few weeks.  But like the work question there may be good and bad to that.

I have no idea, one thing this year has taught me you never know what is around the corner.

It has never been one my favs as far as names go.  It is a bit of a family name.  I have Georges' on both sides  But not in recent generations.
