Why is your job an ideal one?
b.  What is the ideal job and why if you are not there?

What are you looking forward to?

Where do you see yourself five years from now?  Ten (if you can project that far ahead, Lol!)?

Bonus:  Do you like the name George?

Again, whether people go on for more education for better paying jobs can't be considered without comparing the higher degrees against getting the same jobs without said degree.  People get PhDs to get better paying jobs as a PhD, whether at a university or in an industry.  Just because you claim you are surrounded by PhDs who could just as easily work in industry for oh-so-much more money, doesn't make it true.

Not here.  Not even at the elemtary level, public.

In the (4) school districts (in three different states) that me or my children have been involved in, the Principals or Supts with advanced degrees had EdD, with the exception of a few PhDs.

That didn't answer either question.  What does a vacation have to do with quality of life and do you even know what it means, because quite frankly it clearly sounds like you don't.  But yes, I get that you are obessed with money, that is clear.

lol. No, not obsessed by money. Just smart enough to know that it is needed in life. I guess it was much easier for you, marrying an older man who already had a home (paid off or almost paid off, right?).

I know sav, personally know her and if anyone has quality of life, it's her family.  They are a great family, with loads of wonderful and personal experiences and for you to claim otherwise based on your obession with things and money is quite frankly....rude and well, not based in facts or reality.

That's nice. Again, when was the last time SHE brought her kids on a vacation?

So based on your logic, there wasn't a quality of life for any year but those five.

Ummm...no I NEVER said "quality of life" anyplace. I never said that they ONLY went on five vacations either.

Why does it matter who takes them? Isn't the experience what counts?   I took The Boy on a vacation just last July (2012).  And we all took a vacation just a couple of years ago.

My bad, where did you ALL go a couple of years ago? I don't remember you mentioning anything. You are not interested in taking vacations with your kids as a family?

You know what? My "income" now, including mine, dh's and CS, is less than what my "income" was when I was married to xh. So it isnt always *more*.  But thanks for playing in a subject you have no experience in.

Really? Didn't you just say recently that his income was about $125,000 but you don't use that amount for your cs? I find it very hard to believe that he was making about that amount when you were married then.
