1.  Only when flying overseas.   Not in the states, I live in the central time zone so all of my travel has only been one time zone in the states.

2.  Michigan.

3.  They are sport sandals.  They did not have them in my size at the store we were at.  They did have them at another location which is near where DH works.  They put them on hold and he was going to pick them up the next day after work.  He forgot and when he went there the following day they had put them back on the shelf.  So he called me and had me describe them for him so he could find them.

4. Usually dinner out with DH and DDs. then home for ice cream, cake and presents.

1. I do, more so going east than west. If I have to go to Europe for work, I try to fly in 36-48 hrs early to give myself time for the brain fuzzies to clear. 2. I think it was Tucson, AZ last May. 3. Hmmm. I haven't bought any shoes in awhile. I think I must fix that. It was a pair of nude heels. 4". They hurt my feet so I wore them twice and they are now in the yard sale box. 4. We don't really celebrate adult birthdays. When the kids were little DH used to take the boys for an entire day and let me spend it however I wanted, which usually involved a trip to an antique mall or lunch with friends. Nowadays, I can do that pretty much whenever I want. 5. Sadly, I don't believe anyone in government about anything anymore.

I don't, I have never been beyond a time difference of a couple hours though.  I avoid flying as much as possible, maybe a flight to Cincinnati when my uncle died about six years ago.  Nike sneakers, Nothing too exciting about hte purchase - they were on sale, How's that, Lol.  I have a June birthday, we go out for dinner. No comment, the current administration and foreign affairs really really scares me.

1. Do you get jet-lagged when you fly? - I rarely fly far/long enough to experience jetlag.  I did have some when we went to Alaska.

2. What was the last destination you flew to or from? -- Washington, DC.

3. Describe your most recent shoe purchase. -- Hmmmm, I haven't bought any for a while if you can believe it.  During our Krazy Daze sale this summer, dh bought me a pair of bright orange pumps (almost stilettos). Haven't found the right occasion to wear them yet.

4. How do you usually celebrate your birthday (if you celebrate at all)? - dinner or drinks/dessert. Not much of a celebration usually, more of an acknowledgment.

5. Do you believe Kerry, when he says that al-Qaeda is only a minor element in the Syrian rebellion? -- Haven't thought about it enough or have enough knowledge to really have an opinion.

1. Do you get jet-lagged when you fly?  Only on the return and only if it's significant flight distance of more than a few hours time change.  For example flying to/from the east or west coast wouldn't give me get lag but flying to/from Europe would.

2. What was the last destination you flew to or from?  Europe, last summer...flew home from Frankfurt, Germany.

3. Describe your most recent shoe purchase.  A pair of Keens, Mary Jane style and browish leather.  Very cute, imo.

4. How do you usually celebrate your birthday (if you celebrate at all)?

Entire famliy (parents, siblings) out to dinner.  We do this for all members of the family.

5. Do you believe Kerry, when he says that al-Qaeda is only a minor element in the Syrian rebellion?

No.

Actually, Secretary Kerry has said the exact opposite.  What is Greece doing in light of Prez Assad's gassing of over a thousand innocents?  Or will Greece do nothing in light of its high unemployment rate?  Higher in fact than the US at the height of our Great Depression.  What is Greece doing in response to the recent gassing by Prez Assad?

1.  No, but I've only flown across country a couple of times, otherwise stayed within the same time zone.

2.  Last flight was just a small plane across the state.

3.  Hmmmm, bought the daughter new boots.  Love that she has freakishly small feet and can still wear shoes from the girl's department!

4.  Dh usually fixes dinner and we have cake with the kids.

5.  My faith in any of them telling the truth is completely gone.

1. Do you get jet-lagged when you fly? Yes, and badly, as in zonked for days. It was actually one of the reasons why I wanted to move back to Europe. The flights back and forth to see family and stuff were really tiring, especially when we added a jet-lagged kid to the mix. The thought of having to do that several times a year was not attractive.

2. What was the last destination you flew to or from? I think it was Cyprus last fall. That is easy though. No time difference and the flight is about an hour.

3. Describe your most recent shoe purchase. Pair of cream, high-heeled sandals. Originally bought for dd, but I ended up keeping them. I am attempting an attachment, not sure if it will work.

4. How do you usually celebrate your birthday (if you celebrate at all)? Usually we just have dinner out or something. This year I had a proper party though, with about 60 guests.

5. Do you believe Kerry, when he says that al-Qaeda is only a minor element in the Syrian rebellion? technically he may be correct about them "only" being 15%, but if you add in all the other Jihadist branches, I think we are talking about a majority.

If anyone is not sure which Kerry statement I am referencing, it is this one:

"WASHINGTON — Extremist groups make up between 15% and 25% of the rebels fighting Syrian leader Bashar Assad, but moderate forces are growing stronger as a result of support from regional allies, Secretary of State John Kerry told Congress on Wednesday.

"I just don't agree that a majority are al-Qaeda and the bad guys," Kerry said in testimony before the House Foreign Affairs Committee. "That's not true.""
