1. Do you like horror movies? Do they scare you?

2. Heels or flats? (or other)

3. Brag of the day-Newsweek ranks the 2 high schools in my district in the top 5 percent of American high schoolsLaughing

"How many years ago did he graduate from high school though?" ------------ Seriously? Would you like his date of birth and social security number too?

Obviously the point is you have brandished here before on several occasions his high school admission as tho it were a big deal.  It's not a big deal in New York.  You know that, right?  Hopefully he's gone on to a great college, a great PhD or two, and is now doing great things in Greece.  What we would like to hear is what you do.  Did you get accepted to what some call an elite high school in the bowels of NYC?  That would be fun to discuss....

Not really. Just wondered as I am sure it has been a LONG time ago as I have been out for 24 years now.

"as I am sure it has been a LONG time" -------- If you are so sure, why ask? Your sidekick is funny though.

So basically you are comparing the school NOW to what 30+ years ago? My kids are in the same high school I went to but I wouldn't be comparing 24 years ago to now.

Private high schools near Rollmops' husbands' high school generally have a 99-100% college admission rate.  If parents will pay for high school, their kids best be going to college, lol!  But the colleges are generally lower tier anyway, few Ivy Leagues, MITs, because few kids get accepted to top colleges anyway!

Are you contending it matters where people went to high school??  It's something to put on a c.v.??

Oh, is that your problem. Your argument being that it is worse now or better now? I really don't care deeply what your opinion is of the HS my dh once attended, nor do I care to dissect the relative worth of some HS now and the same HS 10, 30 or 70 years ago. You are terribly pleased that your local HSs made the XYZ list. Great!

I can't even fathom putting my high school and magna cum laude on my old resumes.  And I thought this message board was for self-promotion of its members!  You know I like ya, Spring.  But I bet you don't care in the slightest which high school my dear hubs attended!!
