2. Heels or flats? (or other)

3. Brag of the day-Newsweek ranks the 2 high schools in my district in the top 5 percent of American high schoolsLaughing

Psssst.  You can stop posting.  Rollmops ran away without addressing my and Spring's comments.  Your job is done. Wink

lol. Maybe Momine is done posting today as it makes no sense to mention a high school that has high grades now if that person does not go there now.

<<WHAT??? Do you have records of schools from 24 + years ago? It is all about the kids now. That is my main concern.>>

It is funny, you just lol at a situation that was similar to your own.  As I said before, I think looking past a single year (or even a few) is important in looking at a school, especially if one is going to brag about test scores or specifics that Newsweeks chooses.   As I said before, I think maintaining the quality of education over a period of time is something to look for in a schol.

I am sure that is why your kids have moved schools a few times. I am QUITE pleased with the education my kids are getting. Of course it is not perfect, as is NO school. Did your children's school make the list in the last few years?

Well, the statement was about where "anyone" went to school .. not where the posters here went to school.

"I think spring is the one contending that it matters where people went to high school ." ------------- I am not sure what any of them is contending, lol.

Again, it was MY brag of the day. Question #3. I think it was Geschichtgal who commented on it.

No dear, I am not the one posting nonsense. I expect the next development in this fascinating [irony] debate is likely to be another one of these:

And now you see why bragging is considered unseemly.

You must be thinking of someone else, my kids haven't moved schools a few times.  Perhaps you are thinking of jams?  I know she has mentioned they have moved quite a lot.  However, I would of course support moving children to maintain quality education, why on earth would you support leaving a child in a school where they did not receive a quality education?  That's really odd. My comments were about a school that maintains a quality of education, nothing about perfection, that is another odd connection from you.

I'm not giving you specifics about my children, I'm sure you understand.  :)
