2. Heels or flats? (or other)

3. Brag of the day-Newsweek ranks the 2 high schools in my district in the top 5 percent of American high schoolsLaughing

Private high schools near Rollmops' husbands' high school generally have a 99-100% college admission rate.  If parents will pay for high school, their kids best be going to college, lol!  But the colleges are generally lower tier anyway, few Ivy Leagues, MITs, because few kids get accepted to top colleges anyway!

"as I am sure it has been a LONG time" -------- If you are so sure, why ask? Your sidekick is funny though.

So basically you are comparing the school NOW to what 30+ years ago? My kids are in the same high school I went to but I wouldn't be comparing 24 years ago to now.

Not really. Just wondered as I am sure it has been a LONG time ago as I have been out for 24 years now.

Obviously the point is you have brandished here before on several occasions his high school admission as tho it were a big deal.  It's not a big deal in New York.  You know that, right?  Hopefully he's gone on to a great college, a great PhD or two, and is now doing great things in Greece.  What we would like to hear is what you do.  Did you get accepted to what some call an elite high school in the bowels of NYC?  That would be fun to discuss....

"Public School?" -------------- Yes, my dh went to a public HS.

Oh ok, didn't see any in the NY area with a grade of 90. I think the highest was 84.
