I haven't been so thankful for a Friday in a really long time!
It seems that Fall has arrived (for a few days anyway).

1.  Have you started to wear clothes from your fall wardrobe yet?

2.  Do you even have a "fall wardrobe"?

3.  Yard work & maintenance, love it or hate it?

4.  What is one thing that you really look forward to in the fall? One thing that you dread?

1. It's been very hot here.  So no sweaters or jackets or boots or anything.

2.  I don't really have a fall wardrobe.  I have sweaters, vests, jackets, boots, things like that I wear as it gets cooler.

3.  I don't mind yard work but I don't have time to do it all properly and my yard always looks a bit untended.

4.  I don't really have anything I really look forward to in the fall or anything I dread.  I don't like the shorter days and the coming cold.

1. No, we are still in the 90s.

2. Not really.  I have hot weather and cold weather clothes.

3.  I used to like mowing the lawn, not so much any more.

4.  Cannot think of anything I look forward to.  I dread the lose of sunlight.

No actually.  Yes, sweaters, turtlenecks, jeans and other long pants, sneakers, birks, dr.marten oxfords and completely closed heels.  DH does most yard work.  Halloween and Thanksgiving, I don't know what I dread - the shorter days I guess.

"DREAD - knowing how short the glory weeks are and how fast the snow will be coming on its heels." -------- I can understand that. When we moved here, I thought I would miss the snow. I don't. Not even a little bit.

I am the only one of my siblings that left Michigan.  One of my older sister's reasons for not leaving is "I would miss the snow".   My first Thanksgiving after leaving it was in the 70s, I spent it at a picnic.  Had no probelm at all adjusting to a warm Thanksgivng.  I do not miss cold weather or snow in the least.  We visited the Grand Canyon three years ago in Feb, everythng was snow covered and I do not think the temps got about 25F (-3C).   I did enjoy the cold weather,  but it was much different from living in it full time, having to drive in it etc.

I hear you. I love looking at the snow, but trudging through it wearing a giant coat and scarf? Not so much.

I love that part, I love the cold weather, snow and all the layers.  :)
