T is for Turkey: do you brine it before roasting or not?

G is for Google: in the BTWG (Before There Was Google) era, how did you typically find answers to stuff?

I is for Idiot: what is something dumb you did lately?

F is for Fun: what is a recent fun thing you did?

"Wow! LOL! I get the uniform thing. The boy/cub scout uniforms are OK, but Girl Scout uniforms are butt ugly, and uncomfortable." --------- Well, the leader was trying to boss dh around and dh did not find his orders either reasonable or rational, so he objected, which turned into a fight. You do not want to fight my dh. As for the uniform, you misunderstand. It was not because they were ugly, it was simply that it WAS a uniform. She objected to private school on the same grounds. See a pattern here?

"I called the library reference desk," ---------- Smart! I was never bold enough to do that, but it makes perfect sense.

for Turkey: do you brine it before roasting or not?  I have never made a turkey so I have no idea.   I let other people do that and I just eat it. ;-)  (I am aces at bringing wine, clearing the table, loading the dishwasher and providing witty banter though)

G is for Google: in the BTWG (Before There Was Google) era, how did you typically find answers to stuff? I loved me the library...

I is for Idiot: what is something dumb you did lately? I totally forgot to do a ticket order for a sponsor and didnt realize it until he called to tell me he couldn't come to the show after all.. dodged a bullet on that one!

F is for Fun: what is a recent fun thing you did? Went to rehearsal last night!  other than that it was a week ago when my lady and I went down to Cambridge to see DAllas Buyers Club at the movies then out to dinner for Vietnamese/French fusion  with my BESTIE!

"I love how much my son has learned and grown since joining, but we are not religious people so I don't see him going the distance with the organization," ------- I am glad it has been positive for him, and I was not actually aware that it was religious.

T is for Turkey: do you brine it before roasting or not? Nope.  Although I think DH may have brined a chicken once before roasting it.

G is for Google: in the BTWG (Before There Was Google) era, how did you typically find answers to stuff?  We had a set of Encyclopedia Britannica and Encyclopedia Britannica Jr. at home.  My dad knows an amazing amount of trivia, so we would ask him a lot.  For school projects, we would go to the library-- in junior high we ended up at the university library a few times.

I is for Idiot: what is something dumb you did lately?  Forgot to pick up bread on the way home from work yesterday.

F is for Fun: what is a recent fun thing you did?  Last month we went to the apple farm to pick apples and pumpkins.  It was a lot of fun.

T is for Turkey: do you brine it before roasting or not? - I have done it, but it's not an alwasy thing.

G is for Google: in the BTWG (Before There Was Google) era, how did you typically find answers to stuff? -- Dictionary, encyclopedia, phone-a-friend, ask-the-audience, lol

I is for Idiot: what is something dumb you did lately? -- tried to put my shoes on the wrong feet yesterday

F is for Fun: what is a recent fun thing you did? -- The Kids, The Girl's BFF and one of my BFFs and I went to an opening night double feature last night. Hunger Games followed by Catching Fire. We had popcorn for dinner in the theatre.  It was a blast.

No, DH is on a sodium retriccted diet so we do not add sodium to anything that he will be eating,

Books

Did a job completely wrong yesterday. Luckily it was caught by my boss.

<<Dh got kicked out of scouts, because he decked the "platoon leader" or whatever it is called, and dd, being purebred, flatly refused to participate. Why? Because they wear uniforms@@>>

Wow! LOL! I get the uniform thing. The boy/cub scout uniforms are OK, but Girl Scout uniforms are butt ugly, and uncomfortable.
