What was the last thing you said thank you for/who was the last person you thanked?

Who was the last person that said thank you to you?

What are you making for Thanksgiving?

Bonus:  Do you shop on Black Friday?  Any favorite stops?

We have a tradition in our house. DH is an incredibly early riser, so if he wakes up before the alarm goes off, he makes the coffee. If we both sleep until the alarm goes off (rare unless I have to take my son to work at 4:30 am), then I make the coffee.

We're going very traditional. Turkey, taters, gravy, dressing/stuffing, cherry pie, pumpkin pie (my mom is making the pies).  I'll make something green but don't know what yet.  Sausage balls. Maybe some chex mix.  Amaretto sours.</>

Sounds delicious.

Yes, we're having everyone over here.  Are you going out to a restaurant or someone's home?  It's getting very coooold here ~ it's almost easier staying home despite the work.

That's Okie (and Texan) for potatoes. I'm surprised you've never heard the term before.

Here, I put the coffee and water in machine before bed, then the first one up in the morning turns on the machine.

DH is an earlier riser than me too, He's good at it, I'm guilty of making coffee either too weak or too strong.

I've not heard that word substituted for potato, No.  How do you make it?
