What was the last thing you said thank you for/who was the last person you thanked?

Who was the last person that said thank you to you?

What are you making for Thanksgiving?

Bonus:  Do you shop on Black Friday?  Any favorite stops?

Nobody was talking about ground coffee from a week ago. Do you drink coffee that's an hour old?

Not often, simply because 95% or more of the coffee I drink is prepared in my own kitchen in the morning, and we drink it within thirty minutes or so.  Why?

My dad had a very strict personal policy against drinking coffee that was more than 20 minutes old. I never knew the basis for that policy or what kind of research went into determining the time limit. I also don't know why I'm sharing this, except that this conversation reminded me of him.

I will drink it until it's gone, pretty much regardless of its age, but I think it's best during the first half-hour or so.

In the interests of science, I will contribute the datum that it took 43 minutes to finish the pot of coffee ground and brewed at my house this morning.

My dad and mom drank coffee two times every day, with breakfast and after dinner with dessert.  Sometimes after dinner coffee was leftover coffee from the morning warmed up, I know, gross, Lol.  Espresso was served on special occassions, that's a strong smell I can't stand either.
