The Remember When thread has me thinking about myself when I first came to iVillage and how much things have changed since then. Anybody else want to play?
I came to iVillage in the summer of 2000. I was 36 and working as HR Manager for an internationally-owned manufacturing company I was divorced with a 6 1/2-yr-old disabled son, and my ex had committed suicide a few months before. This was actually the event that led me to iVillage in the first place. I was one of those "Have to work" moms and was told by several when I first came here that I had no place in this debate because I had no choice.
Now, I'm 51 and my son is 21. For the past tnot-quite-ten years I've worked as the business manager for a small architecture firm. Eight years ago, I also absorbed the marketing coordinator's position. The job(s) and the company have been overwhelmingly stressful at times but have changed greatly over the past few years, due to economic/market and ownership changes. I am now in a very comfortable position within the company. I also no longer really have to work. My son is now in a position to offer to take care of things if I want to quit and take some time to figure out what I want to do. That offer has led me to the realization that despite the stress, long hours (which really isn't an issue anymore anyway) and frustration, I am already doing what I want to do. I'll be sticking around there.

I don't think so and you were pretty hot to get the information removed from ivillage and harrassed me for through multiple threads across months about Queens actions and how I should have stopped her from posting that information. I haven't mentioned any assumptions about the outcome....you are getting all hot and bothered again about something you "claim" didn't happen.

ROTFLMAO--I bet Swiper's a client.
I've never denied any responsibility in the demise of my first marriage. I have, however, denied any responsibility in his affair. He and HWB are the only ones responsible for that.
I hope you have had therapy about this to understand WHY he went to another woman. Sigh.....
Are we really talking about something as lame as a screen shot of a twitter follower who happens to be an escort? I can't believe all of her cackling over the laste few months has been about a twitter follower, how funny and what a fitting end to this board.

I don't have to to back to a discussion with Bord to know that you're married to Swiper the Fox.
And notice that she STILL hasn't posted her "proof" despite me giving her the okay multiple times. And what do you want to bet that this Paola is one of Kim Michaelson's alter-egos...
Ginger--At 40 I've got a body far better than most women half my age. I've got a very happy husband inside and outside of our bedroom. You've got absolutely nothing on my DH. And your ridiculous insinations just made you look like the sad, clueless, no class, white trash that you are.
So instead of ADMITTING you lied to me, you try to make it into a competition. I feel bad, if you have ANY friends IRL (not the ones her you consider friends) as I have friends in many shapes and sizes and different backgrounds and none of us do anything to impress one another. I find it very sad that you have to try and impress me with your weight or your sex life. I have class honey, you don't as if you did, you wouldn't put up that private info. I can show you no class and talk about how you had to PAY to have children. Let's not go there though because I don't want to stoop to YOUR level.
I get a lot of interesting requests to follow me and some of them are just down right bizarre. I'm private, so people have to request to follow me, I deny 3-4 everytime I remember to look at that page which is only slighty more often than I look at twitter.

Do you google stalk them too? If you have to tell someone you have class, it's a good chance you aren't showing that you have classs at the moment....you know, since you are threatening to post a picture of an escort who follow her dh on twitter which you learned from google stalking another man....really doesn't scream class. At all, quite the opposite.
