Today's beautiful early morning walk by Simmons Pond got me thinking of Thoreau's Walden. It won't happen again. On to today's fluff:

  •   1. Walk in the woods or a drive in the country?

  2. Ocean or lake front living?

  3. Favorite American author, any era, any genre?

  4. Favorite reality TV show, candid, competitive or how-to?

"I've never outgrown my fondness for him :)" -------- Ditto, you just made me remember that delicious feeling of total awe we had for him back then.

1. Alwqys a walk over a ride.

2. I have never has a desire for water front living because I have a bit of a fear of flooding but when I lived in Florida I could see the gulf from my kitchen window and that was kind of neat.

3. LaVryle Spencer.

4. House Hunters. Jeopardy, Restaurant Impossible.

I was watching Love it or List  for a while it but tired of it quicky.  Watching couples be so mean to each other is not my cup of tea.

That's pretty much how I feel about Padma.  She's not my favorite person ever, but she does at least seem to know food.

  • Walk in the woods.

  2. Ocean or lake front living?

Lake. B/c the ocean is really, really far away. And lakes don't have hurricanes.

  3. Favorite American author, any era, any genre?

I can not pick just one: Harper Lee, Mark Twain, John Steinbeck, Eudora Welty, Rick Bragg, Toni Morrison, F. Scott Fitzgerald--I love them all.

  4. Favorite reality TV show, candid, competitive or how-to?

anything on DIY network or HGTV. And after ripping out new floors & subfloors, moving appliances, cleaning out gutters and washing windows today, I'm ready for my own show...

On Wednesdays we wear pink.
