You might be enlightened to learn how the French look at conditions like ADD/HD.  I find this as fascinating as those sights and smells you brag about, Lol.

Well, Jambles, the only one claiming that I have "worldly experience" is you; I guess so you could argue with yourself about it.

I think one of the pluses of French education is that children generally come out of their elementary schools knowing how to use apostrophes properly.

Too much time on your hands? lol. Will you be working next year to keep yourself busy?

I'm working this year, and I anticipate working next year as well. I thought we were talking about the differences between American and French educational and psychological practices. You can now out anytime if you're no longer interested in the subject.

I read the article. Said it was interesting. That's all. Didn't enjoy the insult to my grammar as it IS still early and I am not a morning person.

I wasn't insulting your grammar. I was referring to your punctuation skills. I'm sorry, I didnt realize punctuation was a function of time of day. Sorry.

Most people here are actually extremely tolerant of bad grammar, spelling and punctuation, as well as unusually talented at extracting meaning from completely mangled English, misused words etc.

Wow, from passive agressive comments to starting passive agressive threads.

I've seen that article before, it's over a year old, so no, not exactly enlightened by blog post that I read over a year ago. I didn't realize that you believe the French are ground breaking on their treatment of disabilities.  Well maybe, since the person who wrote the blog is neither French or lives in France.  I wonder if she has even been to France to do research?  I find it a little uneducated to think that adhd would go away if parents simply said no and had structure in their family, as if they don't already.  That's as bad as saying someone who is shy, should just speak up and the parents should force them into social situations to over come being shy.  Both pretty silly notions, wouldn't you agree?

Really?  So you believe that adhd would go away with different parenting?  Have you tried the type of parenting she suggests?  If so, what was the results?

Why is if "bragging" when someone talks about the food in a place you haven't been, but "not bragging" when you or Spring talk about the culinary wonders to be found in places others have not been? And as for the information in the article? Old news.

Double standard bord, double standard.
