You might be enlightened to learn how the French look at conditions like ADD/HD.  I find this as fascinating as those sights and smells you brag about, Lol.

Why is it "bragging" when someone talks about the food in a place you haven't been, but "not bragging" when you or Spring talk about the culinary wonders to be found in places others have not been? And as for the information in the article? Old news.

Yea, It was on a resource page I subscribe to last night spring. Very interesting and a nice reminder even if it is "old" news (dated 2012).

Didn't know there was something bad about putting old news on here as a debate. Many things that people have never seen or heard about are old news to me. Shrug.

It is old news that there is a subjective/cultural element to psychiatric diagnoses and that different cultures frame/treat them differently. The French have completely different approaches to obesity than Americans do, do. It's fascinating. Another fascinating fact? 75% of teacher referrals to school psychologists for grades K-3 are for boys in the youngest quartile of students for that year.

That is why many American's move to France to have their children educated there.

I don't think there is much wrong with putting up "old news" either, other than it was pretty clear that Jambles was yet again throwing one of her passive aggressive punches in my general direction. She missed.

I think one of the pluses of French education is that children generally come out of their elementary schools knowing how to use apostrophes properly.

Perhpas Americans need to stop dancing around the school systems and either ship themselves there or fix themselves. Your worldly experiences really are not.

There's nothing wrong with posting old news. However, it's clear that Jambles was trying to throw one of her tiresome passive-aggressive punches in my general direction. She missed.
