You might be enlightened to learn how the French look at conditions like ADD/HD.  I find this as fascinating as those sights and smells you brag about, Lol.

<<Nope that is ASSUMING on your part and you know what assume means ;)>>

No, I don't but I trust that you know what it means, from experience.
That is why many American's move to France to have their children educated there.

What is the reason that Americans move to France to educate their children?

I am thinking a better education. I personally have never done it so can't give you first hand. You would have to ask them.
I was asking for clarification on the statement you made. You declared that there was a vague reason that Americans move to France for the education. What was that reason? To avoid ADHD? To avoid behavioral problems? Because they love Madeline? To immerse themselves into a secular culture? To learn fine culinary skills? Because they enjoy French bakeries? Your post was not clear.

I don't shop at jewelry stores.

That seems like such an odd question to ask someone.  In my whole life, I've never been to a pawnshop.

So I am pondering this thread, which is oddly amusing in various ways. I guess we must conclude that it is all right, admirable even perhaps, to have visited places like Disney, the fly-over states, the ports called on by cruises that leave from the East Coast somewhere and the places where one's in-laws reside, assuming it is somewhere that could not be deemed glamorous by any stretch of anyone's imagination. But it is a huge no-no to have gone to France. How about Germany? I see some ambivalence there. Italy is probably out too, since David resides there, but might be OK if you are either there on a cruise and only stop for 1-2 days or you are only there to visit the ancestral village outside Bari. It is downright fascinating on a slow Saturday.

What if you lived in Germany, right on the border and your best friend lived in France, so you biked there nearly every weekend for 3 years?

"What if you lived in Germany, right on the border and your best friend lived in France, so you biked there nearly every weekend for 3 years?" --------- I think that since you biked, which is very Euro and effete, perhaps even communistic, we must store that one in the "supect" bin.

Neither have I but if it was a famous one on TV, I probably would go in just to see. My friend who doesn't frequent pawn shops stopped into Pawn Stars shop when he was visiting. He wasn't able to see them though as they tape at 5am.

"But momma told you to trust yourself... Why are you passing that off on others?" Jambles, to whom is this question addressed, and what is in relation to?
