He's an adult.  Write him and ask if you want, see what answer you get.   He told me he was not tempted to eat the food there, and he always came home hungry.  I didn't grill him on whether he ever ate a single bite of food or whatever.  I just know he has never liked McDonald's food and after working there for a few months, was pretty repulsed by even the smell of it.   I'm sure he probably had a diet coke or iced tea from time to time, although I've never asked nor did I see cups in his car or anything.

We had a guest speaker at the University recently - the owners of the only certified organic beef operation in the state. It was fascinating. They both were skeptical at first and had no desire to part from a traditional farming/ranching operation.  The husband came on board due to some unique opprotunties first.  The wife - the business end of the operation - was very very hesitant and skeptical.  But she kept running the numbers and it was working, so she stuck with it.  Then after a few years, they had som signficant testing done.  They compared their completely organic beef with that of a traditional operation and that of a grass-fed, but not organic, operation.   In four or five tests, including omega-3s, their beef tested significantly higher than either of the other two.  The tests have been repeated and the results are the same every time.

You appear to be claiming a much deeper knowledge of my household than I would have described; why don't you tell me?

I find it hard to believe a kid that works at McDs isn't eating the food.  That's odd and a bit cuckoo to me too.

Yep and I didn't get an answer of what he IS eating then. Must be lots of sugars and carbs.

Interesting enough, just came back from the grocery store, I don't always spend more for organic but I almost always spend more for quality food and while I'm not a picky eater either, I do like feeding my family good quality food.  For example my son takes his lunch to school everyday and I purchase quality lunch meet without fillers, additives and preservatives from the deli.  It's not organic by any means but it is more healthy for him then prepackaged sodium, preservative filled lunch meat.

Sorry to hear that as I buy good lunch meat and it does not cost more than the junky brand. I also don't get it at my usual grocery store as they charge more than the place I go to. Just like my fresh fruits and vegetables.

Yep, I don't believe in organic either as I DO think it is a fad. I also don't think junk food is good for you all the time. Moderation, moderation.

Oh my! Speaking of good food, I just whipped up an awesome rosemary balsamic marinade for the chicken I'm grilling tonight. Balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, evoo, garlic, brown sugar, pepper and lots of rosemary. Cannot wait.

That's great but do you honestly think that the average person who cooks does NOT cook the same way? I make the exact same thing, minus the rosemary as we don't care for it.

Did you ask what he eats? I must have mIssed it.  He eats a well-rounded diet.  Not much of a sweet tooth but he does eat too much processed meat and fats, particularly dairy.

And many people are hypochondriacs. And?
