I'm sharing, not showing off. I enjoy reading other people's menus and often get inspiration from them. My menus have proven to do the same. People that know me well know that I am passionate about food and cooking. And I like to share that passion. As many other people do with whatever their passion happens to be.

Ummm...ok.

It is not the type of food you eat that cause you to gain weight, it's the number of calories you consume rather than the type of food.

OMG, really? BAER.

He eats too many large portions of food and remains overweight. He hadn't gained any significant weight since he was about 16, so I'm hoping his weight is stabilizing now. Why are your kids overweight?

My kids are overweight? How would you know that?

Well, that was a totally random observation.

There is value in making the switch. If may not be things you value, but there is value. Many people are concerned about exposure to trace pesticides; every study that's ever been done showed organic food and those who consume them retaining lower quantities of trace pesticides. There are those who are concerned about pesticide use and the environment. There are those who are concerned about animal welfare. And even though there is not much difference nutritionally between organic/conventional foods, many studies have indicated some differences in some nutrients, particularly omega-3s. And many people just value the difference in taste Found in some organically-produced food.

And many people are hypochondriacs. It appears to be Totally Random Day on Long Island.

A good measurement would be time, In the 10+ years many of us have posted here there's been an increasingly number of findings that have unproven the notion that organic is healthy or/and nutritionally better than conventional.

I would ask for those findings, but I'm sure that is another question and/or request for information that you will just ignore and be blissfully unaware of reality.

You say that like your idea of normal is well...the mark on which to judge others.
