Finish painting the sewing room, paint the sewing room metal cabinet (hand-me-down from previous owner--it's half white, half surface rust, so I've got three cans of bright lime green paint to make it pretty and cheerful), and set up the new table saw so I can start installing the bead board ceiling.

2. Read all the books, own all the movies and I can't wait to visit the ride at U Studios in a couple years (our next visit).

3. Three.

1. Weekend Plans?

Eddie has a birthday party Saturday evening with a friend from church. Tom has a baseball game in the morning, which I  will miss because I have to work. The twins have a sleepover scheduled with their cousins. I'd like to work in some pool time after church on Sunday. We'll see.

2. Harry Potter....read the books, seen the movie, gone on the ride?

I have not read the books or seen the movies. Nor have my children. The idea of witchcraft and wizardry is not want I want to plant in my childrens' mind.

3. How many pillows do you sleep with?

one

Your sewing room sounds lovely and so bright and cheerful! I do enjoy whipping up clothing for the kids when I have a bit of time! Mary sews a fair bit of her own clothing now and Julia is learning--sewing simple things for her American Girl dolls.

1. Weekend Plans? -- my xh's sister, her dh and their two kids are coming in late Sat night. Staying through Monday morning.  We are also going to a local amusement park on Saturday. So it will be a very busy, packed, HOT weekend.

2. Harry Potter....read the books, seen the movie, gone on the ride? -- multiple times, multiple times, and no, but I'd like to.

3. How many pillows do you sleep with? - one

Why do you get a say in how many pillows your dh sleeps with?

lol. He would have a ton of them and leave no room for me to even sleep. He actually had one of those body pillows years ago but didn't care for it too much and went back to the regular pillows.

Thanks!  That's my intention--since my sewing room is in the basement, I'm doing everything I can to get rid of the "Here's My Sewing Dungeon" theme :)  Since I have bare brick walls from about 4 or 4 1/2 feet off the floor, the painting is time consuming--it's taking 4 coats to cover up the red brick, but the new color is a nice bright yellow and I have some Ikea light fixtures to install to swap out the bare lightbulbs. I'm also hoping to score a OTT floor lamp on sale in the near future, so I can move that around to the various machines as I'm using them.

It's great that your girls are sewing.  I've loved sewing since I was a little girl, too, but I don't do much garment sewing these days.  Mostly I piece quilts; my latest is a cute little dog quilt for my DIL's sister's baby.  It's just about done; I need to finish the quilting on the border.
